Has anyone extended tickets purchased with the current 2 days free promo? We have successfully extended discounted tickets bought from 3rd parties with price bridging, but not ones tied directly to a Disney hotel + discounted tickets offer. It would save us $1200, but we need 10 day tickets, not 5. When you are booking the offer, the only option is a 5-day ticket, which I have never seen before. There is no option to upgrade the ticket while booking, so I want to make sure I can extend them and keep the $1200 discount. If so, will I have to wait to upgrade until after 1st use to keep the discount?

How long is your onsite stay? I think the online booking system now defaults to the max length of your package stay. I'm not sure if you can extend those by calling but it's worth a try. However, be aware that you would not be upgrading 7-day tickets to 10-day tickets, but rather upgrading to an 8-day ticket with 2 days free if you upgrade prior to arrival. Since it costs less to add additional days, your savings will actually go down. That's the negative part of that promotion -- it's best for those with shorter stays. You may want to check if there is a better promotion for your dates, maybe a room-only.

Call....they can increase the park tickets up to 10 days on the phone. You would still get 2 days free.

We are doing a split stay, but you're right. When I put the package in without the discount, it only goes up to 5 days on the tickets. I did not even notice that. Hopefully if I called and explained that we are doing a split stay then they will let me upgrade.

OK, so I guess we are going to have choose between saving more money or making all of our park reservations before hand.
