Extending PH tickets?

I've searched and haven't found an answer to this, maybe I'm not using the right keywords?

Anyway - if we have 10-day park-hoppers and want to do the parks more than 10-days, can we extend them to add more days or do we need to start all over again with a new base ticket and/or just upgrade to an annual pass?

You would need to get another base ticket or upgrade to the AP (which would probably be more economical). A MYW ticket can never have more than 10 days on it.

Get an annual pass at that point, and you can park hop all you want and start planning another Disney trip within 12 months from when you activate the ticket!
