Just saw that this was posted. Update: It is now posted for Travel Agents to access on the site for Disney travel agents and also on the Disney website.

I am curious, though, why they did not include Gran Destino Tower in there -- the price and amenities for this section is equivalent to the WL and AKL - in fact we prefer the rooms here over those rooms (just an opinion).

Extended Evening Theme Park Hours
In October, Guests at Disney Deluxe Resort Hotels or Disney Deluxe Villas and other select hotels (Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve) can enjoy extended evening hours—experiencing select attractions, shops and dining after regular park hours—in select theme parks on select nights.

You’ll need a valid Resort ID, valid admission and a theme park reservation for the same park on the same day. (Or a ticket or annual pass with the Park Hopper option, provided you entered the park where you made your reservation earlier in the day.)

Current Schedule for Extended Evening Theme Park Hours*
Monday, Oct 4 - Epcot - 10pm to midnight
Wednesday, Oct 6 - Magic Kingdom - 9pm to 11pm
Monday, Oct 11 - Epcot - 10pm to midnight
Wednesday, October 13- Magic Kingdom - 9pm to 11pm

I just saw this and am thrilled as we are doing MK on the 13th and Epcot on the 11th.

I know in the past we were advised by planning guides to avoid parks with EMH because it increased attendance for that day. Do you guys think this will be different and worth it to go to MK on a 1 park day pass?

No one really knows as this is new. The number of deluxe guests is different, but you could assume (remember what happens when you assume tho) that deluxe guests would reserve MK on those days or at the least have park hopper so they can go to the parks during that extended evening times. Keep in mind this includes DVC Deluxe Villas, Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve, too in addition to the "normal" Deluxe hotel properties.

Yes, it should be much better than past pm EMH because it's only for deluxe guests (about a third or quarter of total onsite guests that were previously admitted).

AK or HS... hopefully they come aboard too at some point.

There was a big thread about extended hours but see it got shut down. While these posted
hours are ok they could have been better. I rather they released MK and HS hours first then AK
and Epcot. After all the first two the crowds can be crazy. I think they are trying to get ahead of this
because of Boo Bash and upcoming Christmas party tickets so you can try to plan.

I think the numbers will be lower than it used to be since it only includes certain hotels and villas.

I personally don’t like the way the days of the week are different, so you can’t even use the info to help plan your park reservations. Maybe a pattern will emerge soon, all subject to change of course. But more hours are better than less, for sure.

Looked around out on web at multiple sites (including Disney) and didn't find this information posted anywhere. Where are we getting information from? I've seen the Deluxe notice but no specific times & dates.

Just a reminder that there is no reliable source posted for this information. Please take it with a grain of salt until it can be supported by a reliable source.

Also, I believe there is a time typo in the first post.

Just saw that this was posted by someone so thought I would share. Not sure where it originated. But it looks rather official. Has anybody heard that extra magic evening hours will start in October for 50th anniversary for Deluxe Resort guests only?
Do we know if this will include those staying at Deluxe resorts with rented points?

It won't matter that you rented points. Disney has no way of knowing whether you rented or your very best DVC-owning friend gifted you the trip. If you are staying in a Deluxe Villa then you will be able to take advantage of the extra hours.

Question...the MK extended hours on the 13th actually work for our park reservation schedule. We did not purchase park hopping, but will be there on the 13th. If we were to leave the park, for say dinner at a nearby MK resort, are we guaranteed re-entry into the park that evening?

Came to me from a friend who is a TA. And is now showing on multiple sites. Pretty sure it is on the Dis site by now.

Typo corrected. Thanks for the catch. It is now appearing on many of the fan sites and I think it is probably on the Dis site now, too.

If you are staying at a deluxe resort and your ticket for that date per the park reservation is Magic Kingdom, yes you will be able to get in. You have to have a valid theme park ticket for that park or one with park hopping ... and you will have had to have gone to the park that you had reserved for that date ... before you can enter into MK for the extended hours.

It has been confirmed on the Disney website now (see post above). These are the only dates/times/parks that were released for this new perk for deluxe guests.

Start in October. Only the four dates listed with those parks/times have been released. Nothing prior to that or after those dates has been released.

Yes. Agree. There was a post about the number of guest rooms that are included in this and there are not a lot. It will be interesting to see the number of rides that will be open.
