Extended Evening Hours (Deluxe Resorts) vs. Separate Ticketed After Hours?

I received a marketing email this morning promoting After Hours Special Ticketed events that let me know we could book before they go on sale to the general public since we are a resort guest. (We have reservations at a deluxe resort in August.) I now have a few questions, and I have asked my TA, but also wanted to put them out here to see if anyone knows.

• Are they doing away with the extended evening hours benefit for deluxe resort guests?
• Are the ticketed after hours nights going to be similar crowd levels to other ticketed parties (not so scary and very merry?) I found the NSS crowd levels a lot higher than I was expecting when we went.
• Does anyone know when the parks calendar will be updated/available for planning beyond March 28?

Thanks in advance if you are able to answer any of the above. I hope this is not a new Disney cash grab. :-( If it is, maybe we need to rethink our Deluxe reservation...

It's separate from the extended evening hours for deluxe resort guests which are continuing through 2024. EE hours are for 2 hours beyond park close, the After Hours events are a paid event for anyone who purchases a ticket. It's 3 additional hours and you can usually enter around 4pm. In the past, it's been less people than a Halloween party or Christmas party. Popcorn, soda, water, and ice cream are also free once the event officially starts. Disney releases park hours about 75 days in advance and are subject to change at any time. Not a new Disney cash grab, they have been offering AH events for many years. Over 25 if you include MNSSHP/MVMCP.
