Express Pass necessary for week after Thanksgiving?

Trying to decide if we should get the Express Pass for our next trip. We are going the week after Thanksgiving and Touring Plans has the attendance at a 3 for the days we are there.

Is it even needed? I'm guessing the wait times are pretty low, and we aren't against waiting for a little while in line. But we probably won't do most of the headliner rides like Kong or Hulk. I'd just hate to purchase it, and then find out the lines were never long enough to make it worth it for the rides we actually rode.

I'm looking more at whether I should stay at a hotel with the free passes or not. I have access to special room rates and there's not much difference for me to stay at Royal Pacific or Hard Rock. I'm not interested in paying for it when I can get it cheaper depending on the hotel I choose.

Actually that was my fault as I didn't specify that I meant resort choice. Thanks for the help!

I'm looking at the same thing. We're heading over, just for the say, on Nov 29. I've been many times, but I'm traveling with another couple who have never been. So Express Pass would really be beneficial. Thinking of getting a room in order to get that included....I can get a very nice discounted room, so the cost isn't an issue.
