ExpoTV Users Stop In....

Thanks for the pennies!! When I started expo I used to get nervous about my videos and now as long as they're 1 minute they're uploaded...I even thought about doing some in my pjs this morning but drew the line there.

I'm sad I'm not with them too but I'm from Orlando and dd and I go often to visit my parents and squeeze in lots of trips to WDW, so this is a special trip for them. Only because we got awesome airfare though! I FEEL like I'm there with them though - they call about every 1/2 hour! DH said it's very crowded, as crowded at the MK as it was when we were there in June. What's up with that?

ok, now I'm totally excited for a few reasons... 1) my BF just rolled to the other side... no drool worries here! and 2) I just did my first sharedreview ( Pop century of course ) LOL... I haven't been to disney this late in the year.. I've been there the first week of dec to watch the taping of the christmas parade and the crowds were non-existant, which was awesome, so it stinks that they have a lot of lines... oh... and doing reviews in your PJ's is not a problem... UNLESS you decide to do a griddle review ( like I did ) in a nice top and your hot pink disney world PJ pants and the person you let do the taping doesn't exactlt FRAME THE SHOT CORRECTLY.. so for the first few min of my video you see my hot pink pants... totally embarassed that I didn't preview that one before I uploaded it....

I am determined to finish our dvd reviews today! I'm on Wizard of Oz...if I only had a brain! I'm getting a little punchy. Actually it's thinking of $10 (conservative) times each dvd player = a lot of money!! At least I'm getting $5 back.

Every time I see a dvd in a 2 or 3 dollar bin I think hmmm.... 3 bucks for the dvd and 5 for the review.. how can I go wrong?? Lucky for me though, I've got about 300 more dvds that I haven't reviewed yet already waiting for me.. I never rent and rarely go to the movies, so I just buy everything... and now I'm getting paid back!! whoo hoo!

What are member badges and how do I earn them?
Badges are rewarded based on your activity on ExpoTV.com, how many videos you contribute and the quality of your videos. All members who have uploaded videos receive the Creator badge. There are Silver, Gold, and Platinum camcorder badges for members who have 100, 250 or 500 published videos. ExpoTV staff members have a Team Expo badge. We are also introducing badges for members that have a lot of referals, who make smart and well produced videos, and have lots of subscribers. Stay tuned for more information on how to earn those badges!

Thanks for sharing! I didn't realize that. Am uploading now, nothing's been approved yet, do you think they take Sunday off? Yesterday they were getting approved almost as soon as they uploaded. How's the drooler?

drooler is awake ( FINALLY - but he works the night shift, so I really should expect him to sleep during the days.... )
As for them not being approved... I think it depends on what it is... sometimes I upload videos and as soon as they're uploaded, they're on.. I don't even have time to BLINK! and other times it takes over a day or two ( this happens a lot on my dvds ) I know also.. that they give first priority to people who upload movies that are currently in the theaters, just to keep it fresh I guess.. Probably with it being Sunday and all, they might be taking it easy... They better watch out though, because I'm gonna be uploading EVERYTHING in the coming days...

I have a question for those of you who have been reviewers of the week:
I was shocked to get a t-shirt in the mail from Expo with a note thanking me for the video on kool-aid I loaded. First of all, I didn't even remember I had made a kool-aid video! Then I was checking my email and I clicked on the expo reviewer of the week email and saw my own face looking back at me! I didn't know what this was?? I went on to read that all the reviewers of the year will be awarded $10000.00 with the minimum prize being $10! So there are 156 total reviewers of the week right?? I would be thrilled to get anything...heck I was just thrilled to get the t-shirt!!! Expo is sooo fun!! Thank you OP for posting this thread!! That's the first I had heard of it!! This is how we are funding our next vacation!!

I got paid for my November before faxing in my W-9, I assumed that they meant for December? I never did get a confirmation that they recieved my w-9, did you?
