It was the comments about Syrian refugees that push it into that context. People who have been living with ISSI attacking them, as well as their own government attacking them, and no protection and have managed to flee being cast as responsible for this somehow. That is so very wrong. Yes, perhaps a tiny handful of ISIS members might sneak in with these people, but the much bugger and known threat is ISIS managing to recruit those already in the west, many born and raised here--they seem to do an excellent job of that which I find very frightening.
ISIS is terrible, and in many places, and very well funded and we all need to fight against them and be wary---but this does not mean we should become inhumane ourselves and see one another as the enemy and treat people as such based soley on their race or religion. That is what THEY do (they being ISIS). Why on earth would any poster here want to be more like them?
