Explain to me how MVMCP works?

We have never been in early Dec. before. This year we will be going Nov.30-Dec. 5. We would like to do MVMCP after dinner on Nov. 30. Dinner is at 6:00 in EPCOT, we would take the monorail to MK-be there by 7:30 ish. Is it worth it to go later--will we miss much? Also, does this mean that the Wishes fireworks are not done at all--or just early--before park closes to those without tickets?

People without tickets to MVMCP will NOT see any fireworks that night. The park closes early for them. The CMs go around and clear out anyone who does not have a wrist band to stay and attend the party. We went in December after eating at Whispering Canyon (we were staying at VWL.) So I say, you would still have plenty of time to enjoy the party arriving around 7:30. We have attended MVMCP as well as MNSSHP. Both times the crowds cleared out immensely around 10:00 because all of the people with little kids start heading out. It really depends on what you plan on doing at the party. Will you try to ride all the rides are will you mainly be trying to do all of the special Christmas shows??? If you want to do it all, you may have a hard time fitting it all in, that is why most folks get there as early as they can. I think the fireworks are different, Christmas themed if I recall. HTH

You won't miss too much arriving around 7:30p. The first parade is usually around 8:15p - 8:30p and the HolidayWishes are at 9:15p and are very different from the regular Wishes.

There are only one set of fireworks each night.

Just a thought, I like to be there a little early, that way you can get your xmas photo out of the way and then do all the fun thingsyou plan on doing.
