WE never booked it during our previous stays but I know come 2016 I'll be itching to go back for my 50th and stay at the Poly. So my question is, is it beneficial to book the bounce back? Or wait until FD or room discounts come out during the year? And if we do book bounce back and change our minds and decide to go elsewhere, do we get the full $200 deposit back as if we booked online?

It is definitely beneficial to book it, and if you decide to cancel before final payment then you will get the deposit back.

Thank you! Can we book a split stay? Or it must be one resort? Thinking Poly and possibly YC now to be closer to DHS as well.

Yes, you can book a split, but it has to be booked that way from the beginning. If you book just 1 resort and then decide later (after you've left WDW) to do 2 resorts, you will not get the BB discount on one of the resorts. Since BBs need to be booked while you are a WDW resort guest, the BB discount would only apply to 1 resort as the other one would be a new reservation (and you would not longer be eligible since you would no longer be a resort guest).

Ahhh thank you - so if we're considering a split we can book them both and if we decide not to do the split can we just cancel the 2nd resort and extend the dates on the first? Sorry if that's confusing.

You're welcome :).

Yes, you can book two reservations and cancel the 2nd one if you choose not to do a split. With that said, however, you can only extend the dates on the first resort if those extra nights are available under the BB. If there is no availability under that discount, you won't be able to add them.

Ahhhh so they only have select rooms for the BB offers. Figured as long as they had a room, it could be booked. Well that'll be a bummer and sounds like we'll need to know what to book and for how long. Thank you again! =)

Yes, only so many rooms are allocated for discounts and not all resorts/room types are offered. Also, some room types might be offered at a lesser discount than others. I would have suggested booking the maximum number of nights and then adjusting it once you decided on specific dates, but a new policy went into effect that makes it harder to modify down. In order to take nights off a trip, the shorter trip nights now have to be available before that can be done.
