I recently saw some people wanting to give away their certificates because they were getting close to the expiration date. This isn't necessary.
It used to be that restaurant.com certificates were good for a year from the date of purchase but then they changed their policy so that the certificates never expire. If you have certificates that are about to expire or have expired you can go to restaurant.com, click on My Account and reprint the certificates so they will no longer have an expiration date.
