EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

For 2014 I stayed CL at gf, poly and cr. The only one with "to go" water bottles was cr. Dasani small ones.

That's a shame. For the price you pay, they should give you chilled water bottles. Whenever you want them!

I agree! Water bottles are less expensive than alcoholic beverages. So is cutting out bottles of water necessary to save money? In CL? I don't drink alcohol, soda or coffee. I would love to have bottled water, however. It seems that if it is full of sugar or drugs you are welcome to have it to bring back to your room for free. If it a basic necessity like water, then you are out of luck!

It is a shame!

At the price we are paying for RPC you would think that they would be willing to give you a couple of bottles of water a day. the Swan/Dolphin include 2 free bottles of water a day in all their regular rooms! Sure, you pay a resort fee, but their rooms are still far less expensive than the equivalent Disney resorts!

Yes, we had the same experience at CR. The CR Cm's even offered to put a case of water in my room so that I wouldn't have to keep bringing it from the lounge to the room!

LOVE the CL at CR!!!!!

It might be possible people complained about the plastic.:confused3 I know here in our community plastic water bottles are really frowned upon. People are big supporters of water filtration bottles and reusable water bottles for environmental reasons. Maybe that could be part of it?
I agree complimentary bottled water would be great, we always get free water from any Hilton brand hotel we stay in with our honors account. It's just a nice gesture.

Same in our community. We all have mickey water bottles we ordered from Etsy - boys have their names on theirs and I have "mom" on mine. (Although we'll see if we can pull our oldest away from his Nalgene water bottle to use a Mickey one!) We fill them up, bring them to the parks and then throw them in our string bags when we're not holding them. (String bags also from Etsy!) This year at BWI, CL CMs always gave us a large bottle to take back to our room, so we can fill ours at night and in the morning. At Poly, I just filled mine in the lounge.

We have our first AKV Club Level stay booked and we are so excited!! We were extremely lucky the other day and snagged a two bedroom villa for October 2015!!

We have a beer question :) We like to take breaks in the afternoon and enjoy the pool.. is beer available upon request in the lounge around 2 pm that can be brought downstairs?

Additional question - Will IPO book food and wine events such a demos, party for the senses, etc?

At the monorail CL resorts they have beer upon request as needed;)

They usually put in a plastic cup however if going outside.

Just let them know and the will accommodate. Gotta love that afternoon relax time:banana:

We've found AKL/CL to be very helpful. If you ask for beer in a to go cup, I'd think they will provide it. We love AKL/CL! :goodvibes

IPO (and that's all of them) and Food and Wine--honestly it can be hit or miss. If it's an event that will likely not sell out the first day (or in the first 20 minutes-trust me, it happens), then the IPO is generally good to use for booking. It can be good for booking basic demos. If you're wanting something with a more well known chef (like Carla Hall and others) or a Signature Dinner, then in my opinion the best is to book it yourself.
If you'd like Party For The Senses with reserved seating (or wine view lounge) then again, the best advice is to book it yourself. It's a pain to be on the phone at 7am, but it gives you a better chance of getting what you want.

I have a lot of experience with this. I finally had to realize that the IPO has a list of folks and their requests that they work through booking. While they are wading through their list, the extremely popular events can be sold out. So, you'll potentially end up with general admission to a PFTS rather than reserved seating. If general admission is fine, then the IPO should be able to deliver that reservation without much problem.
Just be sure you've given them your credit card info and request information in advance of the day Food and Wine event booking opens.
If I can answer any other questions about F&W, I'd be happy to by pm.

We are back from. 8 nights at BC. It was amazing. The staff was truly the best. The room was clean and had a great view. The food in the lounge was great as well. That being said I think we will pass on the club level next time. It was a great change but we opted for CL over the dining plan. We only ate 2 sit down meals. Hob for the gospel brunch and yak and yeti for lunch. I didn't realize how much trying new TS locations was an important part of my wdw experience.

I just noticed on the GF thread that SugarLoaf changed their lounge area.. But I don't see the CM desk anymore.. Where did it go?

The Old Faithful Club at WL also has a water dispenser. However, they also have a small sign asking you to talk to a CM about filling water bottles. I'm guessing that they fill them from another source so as not to "contaminate" the spout on the dispenser in the lounge.

oh dear, and you shouldn't refill plastic bottles - and... I thought that plastic water bottles had one of the better recycle programs out there! (plastic bags, not so much) I'm at Disney, its hot, I need water, I want water - I can have beer, soda, but a plastic water bottle - no? and how is plastic in a water bottle worse than the plastic in a pop/soda bottle, or that vitamin water? *sigh, I'm so behind the times... i guess I'll get a bottle of soda, dump the soda and fill it with the water from the dispenser....

I would think if everyone that found it odd mentioned it to Disney (I'm sure the CL staff are doing their very best to just follow protocol) that something should make a difference...

(I need to add we do not use bottled water at home for a variety of reasons)

:crazy2:

Does anyone know if the CL rooms at the BC all have full balconies? Or are there some with the 'Juliet' balconies? Also, are there any CL rooms with views of SAB?

Thank you!

I am Resort detail obsessed!!!! Clearly, I need help!

There are some with Juliet.. I noticed them when I was looking at the construction in October.
Now, maybe they were suites, I coulsnt tell from outside, but they did have juicers on the top floor

we had a full balcony. I'm sure there are quite a few Juliet balconies but I didn't see any on the 5th floor

To the bottled water at BC , several times including our group the staff would wonder into the back and bring out normal 20 oz water if you asked them nicely, as you were going out into the parks, because we saw a group do it one day then we asked the next for 2 bottles. It was nice just to go out with something that was cold already, but considering we can easily go to Wally World ot Cast Connection and get them we would just pass

Anyone know the answer?

When we stayed there last July, the refurb had been completed. The desk was in the center of the lounge area. I do not know if it has moved since then. I would LOVE it if it has. I was not thrilled discussing financial matters in the middle (literally) of the lounge.

Wilderness Lodge, CL totally worth it for me today!

Today is our 180+ booking day, I go online, nothing would book... um ok, so I call and I got in a loop after a 5 min wait the call ended! Seriously frustrating - as I wanted to do Dining with an Imagineer for DH's birthday, and since they only take 12 people 3 times a week, I was a bit stressed...

I pulled up my WL email and there was a phone number I called - and tada - they were able to book all my reservations! I thought I was going to cry! :cool1:
