Any new pictures of GF Royal palms club level offerings?
I think I sounded more defensive than I was meaning to.![]()
Thanks for your review thisismyusername.
I'm surprised that they didn't have a room for you with a daybed and having 5 people. I have 5 in our family and we are always given a room with a daybed. I was under the impression that Disney only guarantees a daybed if you have 5. Makes me a little nervous about our upcoming trip.
I had the same experience with the welcome chocolates. The first time we stayed CL at BC we were upgraded so I didn't even know about that until I got home and started reading about CL. And last year when we were at BWI the first room we were given didn't have the chocoates but the second room we moved to did.I guess housekeeping is supposed to put them there and some forget. I don't know.
I'm glad you had a great time.
Hi, am planning a trip to Disney next year to stay at a deluxe resort for a few days. Normally I stay at a moderate hotel but want to try a deluxe (its been many years since at a deluxe resort before club level rooms I think)
Anyway, I have a couple questions. Which do you think has the better club level lounge? Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Lodge? Does one have a better view than the other.
I have never stayed at either one, so would like to try one of them for this. On one hand Animal Kingdom Lodge has the animals you can maybe see from the hotel, and Wilderness Lodge is near Magic Kingdom. Looking for some friendly advice on making a decision lol.
Also, I will be getting an annual pass soon (first time for that also) When the discounts come out for the annual passholders for next year, are club level rooms ever eligible for a discount, or just the standard rooms?
Thanks.
I'm pretty sure you'll be fine as I think that all of the rooms (except some of the specialty rooms, like the dormer rooms) at the GF have daybeds. I think that's also true of all of the rooms at the GF and Poly too.
It was not low to the ground like the old Murphy beds at POR. It looked to be a standard twin size mattress (possibly slightly smaller) on a rollaway frame. Same height as the regular bed. I asked the staff to remove the chair from the room so it wasn't tight. It really was fine for my 13 year old daughter, and I'm not really complaining about the fact that she had to sleep on a rollaway: I'm complaining more about the fact that we're regularly assigned rooms that sleep four when we have five (no babies, either) at the YC, and we have to straighten it out at the beginning of our vacation. Surely, a note can be made when the room is picked that we'll need a rollaway, and that should be provided and put in the room without us needing to go and handle it ourselves. It's just not a good way to start vacation when one of us needs to stand out in the hall with the suitcases and the kids (since we don't know if we'll be moved) while the other adult goes to the desk to straighten it out…

I know Poly and GF pretty much have 2 queen and day bed situations for all CL rooms.
I was wondering if anyone knows the likelihood of getting 2 queen and a day bed at BWI (std CL). It's already listed as the number one request. Its me DW, DS14, DS2 and DD 7mos.
So asking the 14 year old to share with the 2 year old might be a stretch .. LOL ..
TIA
From what I understand, parties of 5 are given preference for a room with a daybed, but since there are only so many of them, it is not guaranteed as one might not be available when you check in.
We've had 2 queens and a daybed at BWI CL every time we've stayed there.I don't know how many rooms like this they have exactly, but it must be a decent amount for us to luck out every time.

I'm totally new to the club levels, but I did want to say that I'm using my bounce back offer from our last stay for this next upcoming stay. It was 35% off deluxe and I'm using it on our GF club level stay. So yeah, I guess you can use discounts on club level stays.![]()

I was going off of a comment made once at a resort at check in. I can't remember where it was but I had daybed in my requests and was told that I'm a party of 5 and didn't need to worry about not getting a daybed.
Maybe the CM was new or something. I don't know. But anyway we've always had good luck getting a daybed.
Could some people please post if you have had good experiences at BC CL? This will be both our first stay at BC and CL. I am trying not to let the recent reviews on the thread scare me because this is a huge treat for us. Thanks![]()
My whole family adores the AKL CL. We know the CMs, we know the menu, we have our favorite places to sit. I love how the lounge over looks the lobby. I love the intimate seating areas. I love the fact that there is a little tucked away kids area. I love pin trading. I love Don, Stacie, Sam, Courtney, Carmen, Mike, Dave, April.Hi, am planning a trip to Disney next year to stay at a deluxe resort for a few days. Are you getting the automated response email that says your message was received?? Have you tried calling them?? Sent from my iPhone using DISBoardsI'm a little frustrated. I have heard great things about the Poly CL, however since I have changed my reservations from WL to Poly I have not heard from them at all. I called and left a vmail. I have some concerns re: the pool closure, and I also want to arrange for snacks on the Grand One during out fireworks cruise. I have gift bags I would like places in the rooms of the people I have booked for. I know no one here can help, just wanted to vent!
I didn't email. I've called three times. I left two voicemails and once spoke to someone at GF.
