I wish I had some recent ones to share with you! We haven't stayed CL at AKL in about five years. It was amazing though. If anyone has more recent AKL CL pics please PM them to me! THANKS!!!

Great job on this big undertaking. We are BWI-CL junkies that stay 2-3 times a year. Since the BWI -CL will be under renovation when we head back in May, we are staying YC-CL. We look forward to trying a new resort.

I love Pete (BWI CL) Such a funny and great guy. He helped me with some gift card issues last year when we checked in that probably would have made a lot of people crazy. He's always smiling.

Shakira (YC CL) is the best lounge castmember in history! She would see us coming down the hall and already have our drinks poured before we reached the lounge door!

You get so spoiled with all their genuine care and interest it makes other non-CL trips seem sort of lonely.

I would love pics as well as AKL lounge pics are far and few between as I can't find very many. You will love AKL as it's an awesome resort, IMO. We've stayed there twice (although not CL) and we considering a short resort only stay this December to try CL. I hope you are able to try it next year as it really is a great resort.

You will love CL! I can't comment on Poly CL as we've never tried CL there, but we have loved CL at other resorts. The Poly is our favorite resort and we are hoping to try CL on a future trip.

I wouldn't say it's impossible as it has happened, but I don't think upgrades from a standard CL room to a suite happen very often. Upgrades are given for reasons such as maintenance issues, overbooking, etc.

I have read nothing but great things about AKL CL. We are hoping to try it later this year.

When should I contact the IPO there? I've got a confirmation number already.

You can contact them whenever you're ready. Your 180 day mark is in April, right? You've got plenty of time to plan out what ADRs you want to book. If there are other things you need help with I would go ahead and email them with your requests or questions. Congrats on the bounce back!

I'm sure you're going to have a great time . I can't comment on CL, but AKL is amazing!! I'm trying to work out a short trip right before Christmas just to try out CL. Would love to hear all about your trip (and a few pics wouldn't hurt either ).

Me too . Congrats on your first trip.....you're gonna love it . One word of caution though, it's very addicting...LOL. We took our first trip in 2001 and never thought we'd go back the following year, never the less almost yearly after that .....but it's such a magical place that it's hard to not keep going back .

I booked a bounceback for this August - staying CL at the YC. We've stayed CL at AKL before (love, love, love it), and the Poly. I liked the Poly, but our stay was at the tail end of a long vacation and I think we might have been a bit too tired to really appreciate it. It was also before the refurb, so things we looked a bit shabby. The staff were excellent and the food was really, really good.

If Wayne is still working in the AKL CL, he is absolutely the best. My kids adore him!
