EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

We were in room 4123 on the 4th floor. You could see the parade and hear the it perfectly. We did go to the beach some nights to see it - but from the room it was great. Here is the view. Truly relaxing!

Awesome view, thanks for sharing :goodvibes.

Just had to share excitement - 8 weeks from today we arrive at Poly CL and then 9 weeks from today we switch to BC CL! 2 weeks of CL is going to seriously spoil us!!!! CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

Great split, the best of both worlds :wizard:.

I didn't realize those shampoos are only for VIPs! funny story..... so it's the night before the PHM and I'm trying to get to sleep early. I realize I don't have a razor, we are staying at BWV and I know the supplies are limited for DVC members but I thought I would give it a chance. So I call the "front desk" they say they'll send one up. 30 minutes later I get a bag with the whole seaweed spa collection, toothbrush and paste, shaving cream but no razor. So I call back down this time I had fallen asleep by the time they came back but the next morning I see they gave my DH another spa kit, but still, no razor. So moral of the story, if you want the really fancy soaps ask for a razor?????

We were just in 5655. No slippers, no green h20 spa products (just the regular grapefruit). But oddly enough- we didn't have the chair at the table. I thought it was odd that the table pulled out but you would still have to sit on one of the beds.

HELP!!! BC CL just became available for my dates. Should I switch? It would be sooooo nice to have SAB in the horrible late July heat. Plus it's $1200 cheaper for the week. :scared1: Plus I haven't stayed since the refurb and new lounge. I don't know what to do!!!!!:faint::scratchin:confused:

All my ADRs are based on being at the GF, plus I'm soooo excited about staying there. Plus pools are pools, I'm sure we'll keep cool as long as we have water somewhere! ;) I'm horrible at making decisions when it comes to my own trip. :D

I think it depends on how much that $1200 means to you. Is GF "worth" 1200? Plus I know you have said that you are really looking forward to this trip. So do you think you are the kind of person that will be saying all week, "Man, I wish I would be at the GF right now and constantly compare everything at BC to the GF?" Or would you more likely say, " Man, we could do so much with 1200!", like take a short trip in the fall for F&W (if you don't already have one in the works:rolleyes1). I say just go with your gut.

I will admit that I am excited about SAB and the BC CL refurb, but if You have it in your budget, I'd stay in RPC! Getting to MK from BC is a royal pain, and our favorite restaurants are in the monorail loop. Sitting in the lounge at RPC is entertainment all by itself...the band, the pianist, people watching in the lobby, the beautiful views out of the lounge windows...but The CL lounge at BC is just a room (although it's a really pretty one now). The deluxe room you have booked at GF is huge compared to BC rooms too. However, $1200 is a lot of money. Only you know how much of your vacation budget you've spent, so that could give you your answer. And will your boys let you enjoy the lounge and room, or do they always want to be on the go? Of course, you can send them swimming while you relax in the room or lounge:) if you think you'd get $1200 worth of extra pleasure from GF RPC, stay there. We feel it's worth it, but we still can't justify staying there every time. It's fun mixing it up a bit...and saving money in the process...but since you haven't stayed there before, it is more justified. But you did have to buy a car recently. The good news is, you can't make a bad decision here! What do your boys want to do?

Either way will be great. But I'd choose BC CL over GF RPC, I think. We stayed RPC in January and our most recent BC CL stay was last month. We really enjoyed RPC, but for the cost difference, I think I'd go with BC. (Have I used "I think" enough to demonstrate that I don't think it's an easy choice?) What view would you have at BC?

Good question, dispro! I was wondering about the boys too. Our boys would definitely choose BC - they like the proximity to Epcot/DHS (which they prefer over MK), the more laid back feel and SAB. As much as they love the monorail, GF is behind Poly, CR and even WL in the MK resort area for them.

I thought that might be the case with boys...I have 16 and 11 year old girls who love GF. It's definitely #1 for us. But we like BC too.

We have never stayed GF RPC - so I would do it to try it once. We did GF SL - and didn't love the CMs at all. A few were actually nasty when trying to make us reservations. The food was great - but have no reason to stay there again. We love the EPCOT area and love the BC's new lounge.

So I guess I didn't help you. Go with your heart - you will know. Either way have fun!!!

SAB is hard to beat during the summer. But I know what you mean about your ADRs, too. Will it be really difficult to switch? Do you spend a lot of time at Epcot? We stayed YC CL on our last summer trip and we really enjoyed the beachy theming and the pools in the afternoons (before it started to pour, anyway).

The boys are zero help. They say they don't care which resort as long as they have good snacks. :rotfl: They love the food at the BC CL, I guess the RPC food is more of an unknown since I haven't stayed there in many years. Do you think my kids will find things to eat? They don't eat anything healthy, they love the fried stuff and anything with meat. Connor is happy as long as they have PB&J. :goodvibes For me personally I don't really care about the food, we eat so much in restaurants it's a non-issue for me. I'm more interested in the awesome location of the resort and the beauty of the main building. I know I will enjoy every moment of that. :cloud9: But if the boys were complaining the whole time that would really put a damper on things. :(
Urgh!!!! I hate decisions!!!! And this is really a win/win so that makes it so much tougher. :headache:

this thread just changed my life

Ya, me too! The whole reason we're staying CL is because I read one of Erika's CL reviews two years ago I think. We stayed CL at the Yacht Club in 2013. Last year we stayed at AoA in a suite and it just wasn't as magical, lol! This year we're at BC CL July 31st -August 5th.
