OMG... what an ordeal!!! So, after MANY e-mails I decided to call. The first lady I get was really rude and put me on hold 4 times and was not budging. The last time I was on hold I got "disconnected" (I think she hung up on me). Blessing in disguise. I called back and got a much nicer girl. She put three new pairs (I originally ordered 3) through for me at $5.25 each with free shipping. She didn't offer up the additional 20% off, but I wasn't going to push it at this point. I was not jeopardizing my order for $3.15 total lol.

WHOOO HOOO!!! I called and talked to a very sweet girl and told her how I got an email saying my items were out of stock and to call about a replacement (which is what my email said). I told her I was excited to get these since I live in HI and here she was from HI so I think that helped LOL!!!

Just listened to my messages on the home answering machine and there was one from J Crew. They placed my alternate order (2 pairs of item #81464 - Embroidered-critter flip flops) for my original price . They are supposed to ship Monday at which time they will send me an e-mail. I have NEVER had to work so hard for two pairs of flip flops in my life . These things better be worth it !

Did anyone else do the BizRate survey when they ordered? I did when I placed my order and complained that the 20% off wasnt' deducted and received a response correcting it.

Since the cancellation I sent a reply back through the BizRate response about getting the non-wedge flip flops. Hopefully, I get my replacements also.

After seeing that some people were getting replacements for $5.25 I reemailed Jcrew and asked why some people were getting replacements at the sale price and others not. Guess What? I received an email back that they will give me replacements at the advertised price and free shipping! I called to confirm it and they will be shipped tomorrow! Keep trying guys!

I did follow up with JCrew Customer Service and they did agree to the substitution. I should be receiving my 2 pair of flip flops shortly. The order status says ready to ship. So thanks to everyone who suggested contacting them again after my original order was cancelled.

Both my pairs came very quickly so you should have them in time as long as the bday isn't in the first few days of March.

Funny thing today I got home there was a J. Crew box in my garage. Two more pairs of flip flops and it says I got charge only $8.40??????? Now I have four pairs of flip flops for $19.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No it's the day before Easter. Glad to hear it's not taking long. Got another e-mail from Cust Service this afternoon stating that I got the 2 pair of flip-flops with the 20% off plus free shipping. Cost for each pair: $4.20

My last email I sent to J.Crew stated that I read online where several people were getting the replacements at $5.25 and I asked if that applied to me as well. They sent it back and said they are NOT (yes it was in CAPS) honoring the $5.25 pricing and that they are not affiliated with any online websites So I gave up. That was Sunday. Today I get an email apologizing for all of the trouble and stating they will honor the $5.25 and free shipping. I called and got a really nice lady and I guess the information was already noted on my account because she already had all of the information and she went on and placed my new order.

I didn't give up either and finally received an e-mail today saying that they will be shipping me the "similar embroidered critter flip-flops, 81464" for the same price of $5.25.
