Expert advice needed!!!!

Long story short....I purchased a D5000 recently. I'm quickly becoming addicted to photography!!! Have been using the editing cd that came with the camera....just basic editing tools...nothing fancy. My book says that a great program to use for editing is Capture NX. Does anyone know anything about this or have any other suggestions? I do shoot in RAW and convert some pictures for email purposes. LOVE being able to edit pictures, but looking for something with more options. Wish someone had told me how addicting this hobby can become

I love Lightroom. Since I've been shooting in RAW (about 3 years) I haven't found a program I like better.

Capture NX does have some really cool things in it. One thing that stuck out with me was the "Color Points." Check youtube for some videos....it's pretty impressive if you know how to use it. They also offer a demo good for 60 days if you want to try it.

I like Adobe Elements because Photoshop commands are familiar to me.
