Now, Disney and everyone I know is making a BIG DEAL about Disney's new attraction Expedition Everest. Now, I'm a big thrill seeker, and I want know if Expedition Everest is all it's lived up to be. Has anyone rode it yet? Let me know how it was, and if it will be worth the expected 2 hour wait.(Mabey not with fastpass! :thumbsup2 ) Does it beat Rock'n Roller Coaster, or the other big roller coasters there?

I lke it a lot..It's not the greatest thrill ride ever but it is a lot of fun... lke Rock N Roller coaster bettter because of the takeoff and the music, but this comes in second for Disney Rides

I just asked my DS 11 and he said he likes it more than Rockn Roller coaster

IMHO, it's a decent coaster, but doesn't live up to the hype. With that said, you should at least give it a fair try and formulate your own opinion. Doesn't hold a candle to 'bigger' roller coasters in my opinion, though.

I thought Everest was excellent! The theming throughout the queue and the ride itself is incredible! It is so incredibly detailed that it's worth the wait. The ride has some very thrilling moments. It's not non stop thrill like RNRC, but it is really cool!

My DS13 loved it but said it's not as good as RNRC or SM.

I expected more of a roller coaster thrill but the backwards part was exciting. It's my new favorite ride. Get a fast past as soon as you get there but stay towards the closing time and ride it over and over again without a wait. I think we rode it 4 times in a row after 4:00. I think AK closed at 5.

I was at AK last Wednesday, July 5. We walked to Expedition Everest (EE) right after the park opened. While my husband and children stood in line, I got fast passes to EE and then joined them in line. We waited about 7 minutes to ride it the first time and then went to the safari ride, waited about 15 minutes to ride, and then went back to ride EE again. It was a lot of fun--the yeti was very exciting. I guess my point is that even on extremely crowded days, if you get there early you won't have to wait to ride it multiple times.
