Nope, this isn't my video... and no, I can't answer any questions... I haven't ridden it yet. :rotfl:

However, I did come across this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXtpVUFUMPo

I am one of those people who has been asking around if it might be just a little too scary for me and I just am not sure! :wizard: You don't really know what is happening when it goes dark and there are all of those screams!! :lmao:

For me, I thought this video would give me some answers... it didn't, just more questions.

I went on Everest last week. My husband loved it. I came off and was a little dizzy. I screamed the whole way. It goes dark after you start going backwards - and that was the scariest for me.

me an my DD16 rode it in late May!!! The Yeti at the end scared us more than the coaster!!

Roller coaster wimp here and Expedition Everest is now my favorite attraction at any theme park anywhere in the entire world. I hate heights, I hate the drop but Expedition Everest just wowed me. Someone said it best - it's an attraction with a roller coaster in it. The in the dark part was just spectacular. This is definitely a "thrill" ride with the thrill just being on it. Try it once.

Ooooooooooh. I hate roller coasters. Space Mountain makes me scared! My heart was just beating watching the video. I don't know if I can do this! I also watched the Big Thunder Mtn Railroad video while I was on that website. I guess I could stomach that.

So, how big are the drops compared to Big Thunder Mtn Railroad? Big Thunder Mtn Railroad is about all I can handle on a roller coaster. I just need to know how the drops compare. I hate drops--they terrify me.

Thanks in advance for all the good info.

This roller coaster is a must try! I am the QUEEN of chicken when it comes to roller coasters, but decided I had to try this one out. Goofy's Barnstormer even makes me scream! I am so glad I did - it was amazing! It is very smooth so you do not get jerked around alot. This is a roller coaster that I will be sure to ride again - I never thought I would say that about a roller coaster!! :cool1:

Does anyone know the specs on this ride, I sat it out cause I am a total ride chicken, but I am thinking of riding it in Oct. My dh made me get on Rock n Roller Coaster in May, and it scared the crap out of me but I will probably do it again, I just don't like the drops on roller coasters.
Thanks
Kim

If you liked RnR then you will love EE. It is the best coaster/attraction I have ever ridden!!

I am utterly amazed at the person that managed to sit there and film on that ride! Ive never ridden it (YET!) but I will be holding on for my life and not filming. A very brave person.

OMG! ME too! I want to be brave and try this so bad but I was getting freaked just watching it..It didnt seem to bad but knowing me I will be panicking while in line to ride it!

I did ride this attraction several times while I was there recently. I was a touch disappointed by it as the drops seem much bigger than they really are. I found the big drop when you are facing the fall is no worse than splash mountain and really this is not much different from Big Thunder Mtn with the exception of going backwards and the story. I was hoping for something along the lines of RnR out of this attraction but I guess Disney wanted to keep it PG in a sense for those who do not like the big thrills those coasters bring. Perhaps in the future Disney will give us more Big thrill rides which go upside down and corkscrew for now I guess this will do.

I did find the best part of the train to ride in was actually in the middle. I waited for the front the first time which has the best views. I could see epcot and the swan and Dolphin from the top and all of animal kingdom. I also rode the last car which seemed a little slow during the drops but the middle seemed to throw me around the most and the quickest.

Bit of a hijack, but I sincerely hope they do NOT do this in the future. Not a flame, just my personal opinion:

Roller coasters in the US, according to ultimaterollercoaster.com: 800
Pirates of the Caribbean rides in the US: 2

What I'm saying is, I prefer for Disney to give us more of the kinds of things ONLY Disney has. If I liked coasters, which I don't, I have two Six Flags parks within four hours or so of my house. There's also a waterpark right here in town. I don't need to go to Florida for those things. I go there for POTC, HM, Philharmagic, Festival of the Lion King, Soarin' . . . . and next time down, since the girls are bigger, I may actually try a mountain or two. But it's the Disney theming that I want to see, not the inversions and such.

Again, just my opinion.

Ugh, I dont like POTC! I think Disney is made for alittle bit of everything. Disney, keep it coming :)!

Leaving in 2 days with DH and DS who are rollercoaster freaks! I hope this is not going to bore them. The video looks alittle calm...what is so scary??? Maybe I just missed it.
Well....we will see in 2 days.
Thanks for the video :)

:thumbsup2 If you look really close, you can see that the Yeti is wearing a Yankees cap. :teeth:
