Expedition Everest Preview (from parade)

Awesome!

I couldn't believe they strapped a camera and showed some of the ride. It looks pretty sweet. I was wondering how they'd incorporate the reverse part of the ride, and they did a very good job theming it in (track is out).

The parade is just what the doctor ordered to get me through until our next trip!

I enjoyed seeing the preview on the parade today ~ my DH who hates outside rollercoasters (but loves RnR) says he isn't sure of it but he will at least give it a try (ok I hope this preview didn't scare him away since he is "scared" of Big Thunder (I may have gotten to him though this last trip telling him it was a baby rollercoaster so he said he would try it next time (see I also got a next time out of him ~ well I know we will be going at least one more time before his season pass is expired!!)

If it would help tell him my DD, now 7, has been riding Big Thunder since she was 3 1/2 and absolutely loves it. She rides with her brother, not me and gets mad if I try to hold on to her from behind. Not a bad ride at all but I will not let her ride Space Mountian or RnRC.

It was pretty cool. Did anyone catch the history channel modern marvels show about WDW, they had a bit about Expedition Everest! I did not know there will be a Yettie inside the mountain This sounds very cool, only Disney could pull this off

Expedition Everest is reported to be holding a grand opening press event on April 6 - April 8 (note the dates remain tentative).
So I would imagine the public opening date to be immediately after.
Certainly sometime in April!

I saw the parade - anything Disney always makes me happy - and I also saw the Disney special on the History Channel last nite - Modern Marvels. Cool! Can't wait to ride E:E.
