Expedition Everest Height restiction?

Has any information been released about what the minimum height may be for the new ride Expedition Everest. We are planning on a trip next December and I want to start showing my 5 1/2 year old things she might get to do. She will be 6 1/2 when we go and is a bit taller than average and quite the thrill seeker.

We asked last time we were there and they said it's going to be 44 inches.

I have heard that Disney want to make this as much of a family ride as possible. So I would look for height restrictions along the line of Splash and Big Thunder.
