Here is Disney's response to me contacting them:

Due to some web site issues, we will not be able to post the final race instructions until later this evening or tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 11.

Finally! Although it didn't seem like there was much new information.

I'm still curious about the Course Talks that they say "each participant is strongly urged to attend". For those who have done other Disney races, have they had these before and do I really need to attend? This is my first Disney race, but I've done a few local 5ks. It's not so much that I mind sitting through a 1/2 hour talk. But none of the times really work with my planned itinerary.

I am worried about the "climbing" part of the obstacle course... if it is an army type wall... well the wall will win, that's for sure

OMG!!! NO, please NO!! No rope courses!! Dave, I hope you're right! I MAY be able to handle the kids' ball pit!

I keep going back to what they said in the original description.......about the obstacle course being fun, but not particuliarly difficult. I can probably do the climbing and crawling, but my sense of balance is horrible. I'm old and fat, but I figure if I could complete the marathon, I can do this also! Besides my son is pretty strong.....he can push, pull, carry me wherever I need to go!

I just read the rules about not helping any other teams solve the clues. Well, I sorry, but I'm willing to share my info with anybody wearing WISH green.....and probably anyone else for that matter! How can they ever hope to enforce that one?

I am so excited. Every time I read about the obstacles I just start lauging imagining hundreds of us trying to climb and balance. Especially after spending the day at the F&W festival!!

There's no way for them to enforce that.

Also, did anyone notice that they haven't given us the answer to the 2nd clue?? I still don't know what __ __ N __ R is.

I think the answer will come tomorrow, the e-mails come on Fridays if I remember right.
