Yes, I noticed the wording last time I checked it too. I can't remember to buy stuff on my list at the grocery store. And it's written down! How the heck are we supposed to remember stuff while we're running? I suppose everyone will be in the same boat, so we'll all become very good friends in the parking lot.
I'm up for a group picture, but my DD and I won't be sticking around for very long after we receive our medals. She'll be exhausted and she's not a thrill ride girl either. So that eliminates much of the after-party for us! Perhaps we could have a meeting place, and then a staggering of photos for early birds and night owls? Just a thought. (and why are both phrases referenced to birds?)

What part of Atlanta are you in?

Maybe you should have stopped and had a friend drive you home. Now it may take longer to get over it
Yeah, I've told myself that very same thing... it hasn't worked very well.
Oh, and I may or may not be wearing my compression sleeves right now, under my suit pants.
It sounds like there'll be a lot of us first-time Everesters!
I had friends living in the ATL and I visited often; I tried running up there once and thought I might die, too. Those hills are steeper than they look!
