What kinda questions?? Like "why is the sky blue??"
I'm new to runDisney events .... Doing PHM in Feb and trying to convince my good friend to come do EEc with me !!!
I'm caught up in the rD fever, medal fever!
Can someone please direct me to where you purchase the runDisney park tickets?
Thanks

We just signed up today -- my 11 year old son and I will be a team (that way he can't beat me as badly as he did in our first 5K together, right?). If anyone hasn't signed up yet and has a Disney Visa, you can get a discount ($15 on the team registration) if you enter the first four digits of your card number.
Super excited about the Everest Challenge...I've wanted to do this race for years! I've really enjoy the W&D & TOT night time runs. The After Parties are a great time to celebrate.
Does anyone know if they serve alcohol at AK for the after party? Characters?
The TOT After Party was incredible with all the villains. Not sure how scaled back things are for Everest being a 5K. THANKS!!!

Dang it, I already registered before I saw your post. I wonder if it's worth contacting RunDisney to see if I can get some kind of refund. I'm guessing no since it's through active.comOh, well. At least I know for next time. Does this work on other RunDisney races too?
.
If only they were actual AK trivia I'd have done fine. Instead I struggled with a few of the clues. But asked people and waited for DH to catch up so he could solve them![]()
Thanks all for the scavenger hunt info. Not that it will help, but it is nice to know what to expect. We do a 5 mile scavenger hunt on the Las Vegas Strip every year; the things you learn about Strip history and quirky little known spots, wow. Was hopping the EEC would be similar. Having a tough time deciding on a costume. Are most costumes AK themed or just Disney? Anyone doing a non AK related costume?
So. I signed up for my first ever running event and it's the Everest 5K. I have a few questions
I hear this is really a 10k? You do the actual running then the scavenger hunt?
If I drive and leave my bag in my car. Can I get it after the race? Or do I have to check it in
I really want to do the ToT 10-Miler in October. I have never done much endurance running before and I think I am pretty out of shape. Does 10 months to train for the 10-miler seem sufficient? I feel like I am more apt to continue training if I drop $150 on the race.
I've never run Everest before, so I can't help you there, but I do think 10 months is enough training time. I went from having never run in my life to the Princess Half in 11 months. The registration fee didn't motivate me as much as the cost of hotel rooms and plane tickets did!Disney races are fun -- despite retiring from running after the PHM in 2012, somehow I'm registered for this year's Princess... and the Everest... and I'm eyeing a Tinker Bell!
