I'll ask again here because no one answered in a different post, Are there exits at the end of the long hallways at the Boardwalk? I mean does everyone have to exit through the lobby when heading to Epcot?

When we stayed at the Boardwalk, we were way down all the way at the end of the hallway, a VERY long way from the elevators. We thought the room would not be a good choice since we were on a higher floor. But then we saw it - the exit at the end of the hallway, just right outside our room so we used that every day to enter and exit the Inn.

No there are other exits you can use so you don't have to walk all the way back to the lobby.

There are plenty of stairwells, as long as you're ok with stairs, you have lots of options.

Our favorite discovery was the exit door right near our room! We were located on the 2nd floor - so the same floor as the lobby - on the Villas side. We walked out the door, went down the stairs and were on the path to Hollywood Studios! Then we discovered another exit door that put us out front so all we had to do was cross the driveway and we were at the bus stop. It was so easy and convenient the kids were convinced we must be breaking some rules - we were not! Those doors are there for everyone! :)

But to head to Epcot you must go back to the main elevators near the lobby and exit out that way to the Boardwalk. There are stairs along side the lounge that lead to the Boardwalk so you don't need to go through the lobby.

We did find though that not all the stairwell doors opened from the outside. So doublecheck before planning on heading back in the way you came.
