I am booking excursions for Alaska and want to make sure we allow time for lunch before we go. Are the times DCL lists in the excursion selection the meet times or the actual excursion time (the time we leave the ship)? Example: We booked an excurion at 12:30pm. Will we actually have to meet somewhere at 11:45am? If so, our dining options will be much more limited.

As PP said, that's the actual time you will meet. Though, even then, it's not the time you leave. On our last cruise we had an excursion time of 7:15 AM. We arrived in D Lounge at 7:15 on the nose while others trickled in over the course of 15 minutes then we started finally organizing to leave at 7:30. I don't know if all excursions have this built in buffer time, but you may have a little leeway if you're running 5 or 10 minutes late. Don't hold me to this and I wouldn't specifically recommend counting on being late, but that was our experience.

Thank you so much! That's exactly what I wanted to know. We've done excursions before, but never two in one day or later in the day. Alaska is a whole new experience in more ways than one!
