Yeah!!! We leave on the 5th so I can make the shopping. However, the one in June we were in the same boat as you and left on Friday.

As an FYI, in CA at last, it's not exclusive to DVC members. It's for AP holders, too...

The CA world of disney has the free gift for the first 1000 shoppers, and that includes DVC and AP member/holders...

Cool....I'll be there!:cool1:

Making my list and checking it twice.....:surfweb:

YAY!!!:banana::banana:

We leave the 5th BUT not until 1:45p so shopping here I come - AND breakfast ressies at Cape May not until 9:45a!!!!

Yay! Now I can do shopping before we do EMH at HS before we head to the Port for our cruise on the fifth. I'll need a nap when we get there for sure!

We fly into MCO on the 5th. Were checking into SSR around noon. We'll be a few hours late but we'll still check t out!

Members looking to be magically transformed into pop stars, princesses or pirates will receive a 20 percent discount Dec. 5-12 at Studio Disney 365 at the Downtown Disney District and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique insideDisneyland Park (both in California), and at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in the Downtown Disney area and The Pirates League in the Magic Kingdom Park (both in Florida).

It has been reported in other threads that the Pirates League discount is 50%, for DVC, AP, FL resident passholders, WDW resort hotel guests and Cast Members, but great to see these other discounts! Unfortunately, I'll be arriving on the 6th so no doorbuster specials for me (sniff, sniff).

i went to this in june.... I had a blast. There was so many people grabbing everything it was fun! Girls unless your husband is like mine leave him at the hotel with the kids!!!! lol I got a ton of things for real cheap. The only thing was the deals werent all day they were only for a certain time in the morning. So if you want to get in on this I would go right away in the morning!

I know they had it when I was there in december last year too, but it was the same time as the taping of the x-mas parade! And I went to the taping! I wish I would have gone to the world of disney instead!

Does anyone remember what kinds of things were offered for sale? Was there a pretty good variety? Getting up that early isn't my favorite thing to do...but I hate to miss a good sale!---Kathy

It's probably stuff that's not selling.

Don't miss those key words . . . "exclusive" and "50% Off". these words are used to stimulate the shopper gene in many.

We arrive on the 3rd.

Something tells me my hot tub ADR (Advanced Dipping Reservation) will need to be moved ahead to 5 AM.

Vacations can be brutal. Good thing we are at The Lodge!

We participated in a similar event last year. I bought a few ornaments. Checkout was brutal. It took a looooong time. I think it was partly due to the discounts not coming up in the computer properly and so each transaction took a loooong time. I hope this years' event is smoother.

when I went to it in june it was all the 2009 stuff that was 1/2 off and cups for like a buck and holiday stuff.. all kinds.. each room had something different on sale. it was a lot of fun!

The FL event does include AP holders, as I understand it.
We'll be at WDW on the 5th, but there is NO WAY I am going to get up at dark o'clock and drag myself to DTD.
For those of you who enjoy that sort of thing, HAVE FUN!!

The 5th is my last full day, so I think that I may take the time to go over and check it out.

Is there special Disney transportation at that hour or are you on your own to get there?

My Daughter and I will be there, we can't wait!! Leaving the husbands, Grandma and two year old back in the hotel. Mother and daughter bonding time before we sperate at the airport!

Does anybody know what time we should arrive at Downtown Disney? I know the doors open at 6:30. Do we need to arrive there an hour early?:santa:
