All the time. I usually send a plant that way the family can keep the plant in remembance of the deceased.

yes. But I take the easy route. A family friend owns a florist shop in my hometown and I just call and ask her to make something appropriate for $X.

Depends...sometimes yes, sometimes no.....family yes, depends on how close the friend was.
DH is going to a funeral today for a work place friend from years ago that he only saw about once a year, so no this time. Just a sympathy card to the family.

No I don't send flowers, I give x amount of money to the funeral home to help pay for the funeral. If the funeral is paid for then I will donate to what ever charity is listed.

School Lunch:

While you were going to school, what school lunch meals were your favorites, and what did you not want to eat, and wish you had home lunch instead?

Very rarely ever ate school lunch. Took lunch or went home for lunch.

The only school luch I would eat was the pizza, otherwise I took lunch.

In elementary school, I remember that the rolls were the best thing to get. I don't remember buying in junior high but in high school, I remember that the chicken fried steak was pretty good. I took my lunch for the most part all those years.

I went to Catholic school from 1st-8th grade. We did not have a school lunch program, so it was lunch from home every day. And since there were no microwaves in those days, it was sandwiches or maybe a thermos of warm soup. I hate most cold cuts now because I ate so much of it all those years.
When I got to high school, I was able to go home for lunch, that was a great 4 yrs!

turkey for cold
grilled cheese and tuna for hot (at home).....California Chicken Burger out
at home, usually an apple. Out fries
Red Robin for the chicken.....don't eat cold sandwiches out

I always packed lunches from home except for Fridays which was pizza day. I always purchased lunch on pizza day.

What is your most favorite cold sandwich? A Subway 6"incher on with roast beef, American white cheese, mustard, bell peppers, cucumbers and quacamole on wheat.

What is your most favorite hot sandwich? A Scholokys regular original sandwich.

What is your most favorite side dish to have when you are eatting a sandwich? Fritos, not that I really eat them anymore.

Where is your most favorite restaurant/deli to buy a sandwich from? Either Scholotskys or Subway.
