It went well. She wore her bright yellow heels with her black robe (Batman colors).

Most of the speakers were good and brief. It began at 7:00 and ended by 9:00. Best of all it was in a local church, a very big one so that we didn't have to drive far and was able to go out to dinner afterward with family and not eat too late. The band played the processional and at the end which was nice, no piped in music. She got to say a last goodbye to the directors and a lot of her underclassmen band friends. She'll see them again at the 4th of July parade, alumni can march with the band, but it won't be the same. It was a ticket only affair so we only had 10 tickets, not all the family got to attend but that's okay. We are meeting for lunch today in Dallas.
Now we're on to a flurry of parties and the Mesquite Rodeo tonight, after which she alone will hit some more parties.
