You're only as strong as the coffee you drink!

Love coffee! :surfweb: Have my cup right here.

I got a Keurig coffee maker for Mother's Day and it's wonderful. But I do enjoy a Starbucks Caramel Macchiato once in awhile.

The kind that will either make ya gain 20 lbs. or kill ya. :lmao:
Here is one recipe.

Banana Pudding
Paula Deans recipe, but I changed up a few things.

1 box Nilla Wafers
4 large bananas, sliced
2 cups milk
1 (5-oz) box instant vanilla pudding
1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14-oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (16-oz) container Cool Whip, thawed

In a 9x13 pan, layer Nilla Wafers on bottom. Slice bananas on top of wafers.
In a large bowl beat cream cheese and sweet milk, until smooth. Add pudding & milk, mix well.
Fold in half the cool whip, pour over bananas.
Just before serving spread with remaining cool whip.

What is your most favorite drink/coffee shop?
I love strong sweet, black coffee. I don't have a favorite coffee shop since I don't frequent them.

If you were to bring a dessert to a friend's house, what type would you bring?
Brownies with walnuts. That banana pudding recipe sounds good!

What is your most favorite type of luncheon meat?
Turkey.

If you were to teach at an elementary school, what grade would you like to teach, and why?
Kindergarten because the magic is there. I'd do up to 2nd grade but kindergarten is my favorite.

Ok...I've been busy the past couple of days, and need to get caught up. QOTD 6/12...The desert I would be Millie Fillie my DH grandmothers recipe. It's another cholesterol blocker, but soooo good! Recipe as follows:

Ingredients:
1 pkg graham crackers
2 lg packages Jello instant vanilla pudding
2 cups of whipping cream
6 cups of milk
Icing sugar for decorating

Line a 13x9x3 inch pan with graham crackers, making sure that the entire bottom of the pan is covered. Mix the 2 pkgs of vanilla pudding using the directions on the package until mixed, around 2 or 3 mins. Pour on top of graham crackers, making sure not to disturb them. Whip the whipping cream until very stiff almost to butter consistancy. Pour over vanilla pudding mixture. Even the top out, then cover top with more graham crackers, covering entire surface with the crackers. Put some icing sugar in a bowl. Add milk until the icing is thin but not really runny. Pour over top of graham crackers, making sure to soak all the crackers. Set for a couple of hours, then melt 1 cube of semi sweet chocolate and using a fork, make marks across the top of the desert. Let sit at least 24 hours to let the flavors mix and enjoy.
QOTD 6/13- my fav luncheon is any kind of salami, but I can't eat it anymore due to my recently discovered meat allergies (grumble, grumble, grumble!)
QOTD 6/14- The grade I'd like to teach would be Kindergarten. My DS has a first class Kindergarten teacher, and loves what she is doing.

Have a great day everyone!

Trish

I really don't have one, I have been catalogue shopping as of late.

What is your most favorite clothing store?
I don't exactly have one favorite but I shop at Bealls, Belk, Kohl's and JC Penny for my clothes. I can never go to just one all the time. They never have anything I like consistantly.

What is your most favorite type of luncheon meat?

Isaly's chipped ham! I'm a Pittsburgh girl :goodvibes

If you were to teach at an elementary school, what grade would you like to teach, and why?

You know, after helping out in the kids' school...I don't think any would be easy! But Kgarten seems to have the most fun!

What is your most favorite clothing store?

I found I can go to the Liz Claiborne outlet and get better deals than at the mall. And they fit better. But, I dont have one fav store. Wherever I can find something what I'm looking for at a reasonable price.

I don't yet, but I want one. My sister has TIVO & every time I stay there I just love the ability to rewind what you've just watched--and the rest of the show is still being taped. Really great when you're watching sports.

If I had one, I'd have the following shows on there:
NCIS
West Wing
Mets games
Two & A Half Men

We don't have a DVR and don't know if we will ever get one. If I did, I'd tape all those shows I miss during the reality tv show season. But then if I taped them, what would I watch when the reality shows were done? :confused3

Do you have a DVR? If so, what shows do you have on it?

Our cable box includes one. I love it!

Reaper, Castle, Bachelorette, Grey's Anatomy, Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, Mythbusters, Simpsons and a few others are all set to record new shows.

I really like that you can rewind while you're watching a show, even if you aren't recording it.
