Have a fun time. What types of foods do they serve at the party?

Subs, cheese and crackers, vegetables with dip, fruit salad, chips, dip and other things. Basic party finger food.

Hmmm...should be somewhere in Washington/Oregon, heading towards DL that day . Need to head south, am sick of the snow, and the cold (had 2 inches of snow today..make it go away please!!!) . Time to head to where it's alot warmer than here. Will be leaving on late Saturday, and will be arriving in DL sometime Tues. Have a great day, and will wave at Nancy as we pass through Arlington on the I-5 Saturday.

Sunday is Superbowl...do you have anything planned for this day to celebrate the big game?

No. My sister has a party, but I don't feel like going...just hate that I can't change the channel & watch something else, or that I can't sit around in my ratty sweats to watch the game, LOL. I love sports (especially baseball) & will watch the game, but it doesn't mean much to me this year--my team (the NY Giants) won't be playing in it. So it will be a normal Sunday for me--church, then errands, then a normal dinner & I'll watch most of the game. And I have to watch the commercials so I can talk about them on Monday at work!

Thank you. I mean that her birthday is On Sunday btw. It's not today and me sat here thinking about a last minute gift - honest!

I like vanilla, vanilla bean and french vanilla the most, all plain no toppings.

I love lots of flavours but do not like raisins so rum and raisin is out. Last summer an ice cream parlour in a nearby town had Ruffle Bar flavour which is raspberry, coconut and dark chocolate. It was sooo yummy. I also like their Turkish Delight. The shop sells waffle cones and adds cream, marshmallows and sauce etc. For ice cream at home I love Raspberry Ripple with the Magic Ice chocolate sauce or one of the bigs brands like Ben & Jerrys etc

Do you like going to bookstores, and the library?

Bookstores smell lovely! I go through phases or reading so sometimes I an be at the library every week and sometimes I don't visit for months.

I do like to browse a book store once in a while, especially if its a very large one. A library not so much.

I'm not really an ice cream eater. I do like coke floats on occasion. My favorite thing in that genre to eat is lime sherbet on a sugar cone. It's hard to find that flavor of sherbet at the ice cream places. They usually have orange or raspberry out.

I love bookstores and the library! I love to read! Currently I frequent the local thrift store and used book store to get my books. Our new library just opened up in September but I haven't been by to check it out. I seriously need to though.

It doesn't give me that tacky, thirsty feeling that I get with ice cream when I'm done. I like the other flavors too but lime is my favorite.

ok, its a kind of odd combination, but here it is. Peppermint stick ice cream, ( its pink with crushed pieces of peppermint candies) not to be confused with mint choc. chip. Topped with pineapple, whipped cream and nuts......starnge? yes most of the time I am

I dont eat ice cream often, but if im going for it, thats what it would be.

I love love love going to bookstores! I have no clue why, I do love to read, dont always have the luxury to do it as often as I would like though. In the summer im always with book! Usually my summer goal, read at the beach, read poolside, just read in the warm sunshine . Funny, the simple joys you hope for when life gets so busy

But I do get lost in bookstores for silly amounts of time, and Im looking at books, I dont go in and sit down and have coffee and read, nope im wandering

And the library, I do like to take my kids, DS would like to go more often, he likes doing his homework there. My youngest two also share my love of books

I remember when I was in the 6th grade that hanging out at the library doing homework was the most fun thing to do. My friends would all be there. We probably drove the librarian nuts. I have fond memories of thos times.

Most anything chocolate, though there are a few that are not chocolate that I like.

Rigt now it's Cadbury's Creme Eggs. They are only on sale between Christmas and Easter and taste divine. According to Wikipedia you get the in the USA too but I bet the chocolate is a different recipe to ours.
