Asian foods...do you eat asian foods other than Chinese? Are there any in your area? If so, what do you like, and dislike? What have you wanted to try, but have not yet done so?

I did eat at a Japanese restaurant once. (we have just about every type of food here in NYC). I had tempura chicken & shrimp, which I really enjoyed.

Does the Japanese pavillion in Epcot count?? :goodvibes Other than that, sushi and Thai food when I can find it.

DH works for Toshiba, so he's the one who eats sushi on a regular basis (when the higher ups come to visit from Japan!) and has gone to Japan.

We eat asian food quite a lot here in the UK. Near our house we have a nice Indian restaurant, a really nice Thai restaurant and several good Chinese places. Thai is my favourite though, especially satay chicken and chicken with ginger and pineapple. From the Indian I like chicken malaya (as well as peshwari naan bread and an onion bhaji) and from the chinese I usually get lemon chicken with egg friend rice and some prawn crackers.

Hmmm...let's see..I live in what's considered the largest China town in North America. Where I live there are tons of Asian malls, and a sushi or chinese food place on practically every block in the downtown areas. We like getting take out Chinese food at one of the food courts of an Asian mall a couple of blocks from where we live. There is also a Asian supermarket in the mall and sometimes I pick up some sushi there. We also like a cheap Mongolie restaurant in Kitsilano, which is a 20 min drive from here, and we are regular customers there. Have a great day everyone!

We've never had an earthquake here in Rockwall but they've been having them in a town about 40 minutes away.

I like Asian food. Can't always tell by the name of the restaurant what kind of "asian" food it is. I usually get chicken and broccoli with fried rice at my favorite Asian food restaurant, China Taste. I like noodles and won ton soup. Love egg rolls. Occasionally we eat at a place called Asian City Buffet. Don't do it too often because we eat too much! :rotfl:

I know what you mean since I have seen many people say that they eat a certain type of food at a particular restaurant thinking that they are eatting something authentic to that particular culture when it is not.

My favorite is asian foods-especially Thai, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. YUM!

I am so ready for Halloween, and will check for fun sized candies to put into my Halloween candy dish. If you were to come over to my house, what type of candies would you like to see in there?

Peanut M&Ms and gum.

I have my goodie bags and 100 packs of fun dip

also need to get some gum and some type of chocolate.

Milky Ways, Snickers, Twix, Starburst, Skittles, Hershey's chocolate, Hershey's with almonds, Plain M & Ms, Peanut M & Ms......

I would love to see some mini Hershey bars--especially the dark chocolate ones. Or some mini snickers.

Snickers, peanut M&M's, Mounds, Baby Ruth, Twizzlers, dark chocolate Hershey, Mr. Goodbar.....just to name a few.:goodvibes

My daughter's friend is sleeping over tonight since her mom is going away on a work trip, so today's QOTD is-

As a child, did you have or attend sleepovers? What sort of things did you do at your house, or your friend's house?

My sister had sleepovers not me. They didn't do anything special, just play outside all day untill you couldn't see anymore (only taking potty breaks and getting something for dinner).

As a child, the only sleepovers I went to were slumber parties with anywhere from three to ten girls. We played games, told spooky stories, talked. This was during my junior high years.

Oh my goodness, I would sleepover my best friend's house every other weekend in the summer--she would sleep at mine the other weekend! We would play outside all day, eat dinner with the family, then hang out in our rooms playing Sorry all night until our moms made us go to sleep.

my best friends and I were always sleeping over each other's houses. DS12 has a few good friends who are always at one or another's house, but DS13 only once in a while. DS9 would love to have one every night, but they're harder on me! :goodvibes

My daughter's friend is over, and it is now time for bed, but they are both giggling, and having a hard time falling asleep. Just hope that they are okay waking up in the morning tomorrow. :cutie:

Biscuits....do you like them? Do you eat them-if so, do you eat it by itself or add anything to it? Do you have a recipe that you like to make?
