Have ya'll seen the new YC catalog? I received one in the mail yesterday and I think that I'm really going to like the Red Apple Wreath scent! I couldn't believe the catalog. They had so many candles to scratch and sniff this time.

Ok--it's my first YC catalog....and I was excited it was scratch-and-sniff! :rotfl2:

Has the fall weather come to your area yet?

Considering that a week ago, we still had a/c on in our home, YES..fall weather has finally come...hopefully to stay for awhile! We've also been blessed with a few days of showers, we needed the rain badly!

Bobbi:goodvibes

We don't get the fall of leaves and such, but it was cold last night, so yes, the fall weather is coming our way.

Fall weather will come here around Christmas. :lmao:
I don't miss those days of driving to work on snow and ice covered roads, or C-C-C-COLD days. And it was dark when I went in to work, and dark when I left for home. :sad2:
Floriduh is much better. I will take having to have an umbrella handy any day over wearing a heavy winter coat, thermal gloves, boats, etc. :yay:
The light weight knit Mickey gloves are perfect here even in January and February. :wizard:
And I just go to the Osborne Lights if I want to see snow.

What clothing color do you think you match with the most, and which color would be your last choice?

I look best in earthy shades of green.
I look sickly in most shades of yellow.

Most - My skin is olive so I can wear almost any color. I prefer blues.
Worst - I just hate the color pink, so I never wear pink.

It's here, as is the ragweed. It's still in the 90's during the day but dropping to the 70's at night.

My skin used to lean towards the olive tone (though I'm not sure anymore). I wear about any color I want. Do they always look good on me? :confused3 You would have to be the judge. ;) I gravitate towards blues and greens. And lean towards darker shades instead of lighter. I also prefer shades instead of the actual color, like pumpkin instead of orange, gold instead of yellow, magenta instead of red, etc. I don't like to wear solid white or black at all but don't mind those colors in a print. But I will wear black dress slacks.

I think I look best in jewel tones. I love red..I always say it's a power color!!
I hate yellow on me!!

Fall Weather: Was here last weekend, but I'm afraid it's gone again. *sigh* Indian Summers aren't any fun. In Florida, we don't have the change of seasons. I just want cool weather once more.

Colors: Best = Black, Jewel Tones of Green and Aqua.
Worst = YELLOW! So totally YUCK! It makes me look like I've got the flu. Ivory isn't that good either.

UpScale Restraunt Desert = Tiramisu or Something utterly decadent.

I love pink and autumnal colors of gold/green/burgandy/dark orange. I wear a lot of black too.

Last choices would be yellow or bright primary type colors.

Nothing for dessert. I'd be too full from the huge meal I would have eaten. ;)

I am in New England and we have had unbelievable warm weather for September and this week. Today is 82 and the rest of the week will be that way. Totally uncharacteristic for this time of year for us. All that global warming is really having an effect....

As far as the desserts go - I would probably order creme brulee (my favorite) or something sinfully chocolate (my downfall).

How do I get booed????

Lisa, check your pm box ;).

Hmm, I generally don't frequent upscale restaurants but if I were treated to dinner at one and money was no option, I'd try something with chocolate in it or cheese cake. I normally don't get dessert when I go out to eat but if it's mexican food, sopapilla's are great finish to a meal.
