Patsy we have done both. Driving isn't bad, we go straight through. We usually fly when we can get decent fare and lately it has been $135 RT.

Nancy I think Stacey and I are going to be there about the same time as you, we are going Jan 2-5 and staying at POP.

I am off today but laundry is calling my name  maybe I can ignore it for awhile :teeth:

Had a great time, the fight home was horrid, 12 hour delay.
I came home with bronchitis.

welcome back, Heidi!!
Sorry about the flight and coming home sick :(
Tell us all the good stuff. Where was your favorite place to eat? What is the favorite souvenir you got?

Welcome back Heidi.

Guess what, two nights ago when Brandon was 4 months old, he rolled over . And he did it again last night

. I am sad that he is getting bigger and that he is getting such an early start in scooting and rolling, but it is such a great thing to see him do these things :cheer2: .

Favorite place to eat the Garden Grill.

Favorite souvenir was the hooded pull over coat.

I picked a pearl in Downtown Disney, that is what I wanted for Christmas. Got a nice sized one and had it mounted as a necklace.

We ate a lot and spent a lot. :teeth:

Mom rented an ECV from outside Disney and was able to do the parks all day and night.

I think I want to do the pearl thing this time ::yes::
We always eat a lot and spend a lot too :teeth: Part of the Disney experience :rotfl:

Nancy just let them know that you do not wish to spend a lot on the setting. The first ring setting she showed me was $300.

I got a nice little gold loop, the chain is not included so if you want a necklace and already have the chain then I would just get the setting.

John spent $50, that was the pearl the setting and tax.

I tried to post to this earlier but the boards wouldn't load. :confused3

:yay: Brandon, Patsy he will be walking before you know it. :)

::yes:: I looked at them in Oct. Decided to wait. Dave doesn't do shopping well  But my friend does :teeth:
I was thinking about getting DD and DDIL one for their birthdays. I have the chains, so we are good on that.

What does your coat look like? I think I am getting my birthday gift in cash so I can spend it there :hyper:

I don't think most men do shopping well. John goes in knowing what he wants, buys it and gets out.

Here is my coat, and it is very warm.

Cute, Heidi.

I will be looking for something like that although I did get a zip up sweatshirt when we were there in Feb.....but I can always use more ;)

I got that in the Resort store, we stayed at POFQ.

John got a nice zip-up hoddie, it has a small crest on the left front breast, Mickey on top and the castle on the bottom and 1971. On the back the crest in larger and just has the castle on it with Mickey on both sides. Above the crest in a crown with 1971 and below the crest is a ribbion that says Walt Disney World.

He got it at World of Disney in DD.

O' yes, not sure if the specials they were running are just for Christmas or not, but they have a spend so much get an item for X amount of dollars.

The Christmas stores in DD and the MK if you spent $40, you got a 35th ornament set for $10. In the WOD store spend $40 and get a Mickey throw for $15.

In our resort store and at Riverside, if you spent $40 you were able to choose between a Mickey or Tink holiday watch for $10.

Those are the only specials I remember seeing, but we were able to partake of each of them.

Those specials were going in Oct. when we were there. I will be sure to check it out if they have any in Jan ::yes::

We had taken Brandon to his four month appt. today, and he weighs almost 19 pounds. I bought him a jar of squash baby food, yuck. And we will see how he likes it :).
Wow, Christmas :santa: is almost here :cool1: .

Hi Exchangers.
So how is everyone doing with their holiday preperations?
What are you having for Christmas dinner?

DH and I are all done shopping, wrapping and mailing. Our dinner will be whatever my Aunt cooks.

Our main Christmas dinner is at my cousin's house for Christmas Eve, but on Christmas night at our house, we are having prime rib. And, I am trying to figure out the side dishes.
