When I worked with my sister, we used to deep fry our bacon. Sometimes I throw my Tyson chicken patties in the fryer too.

My DH would deep fry sandwiches if I would let him.

Normal stuff, fries, rings, corndogs, egg rolls. Nothing out of the ordinary here.

I will have to try the pierogies that way. I normally saute them with butter and onions. But I bet the do have a better crunch fried.

As for fried foods.. bacon, fries, chicken tenders, hmm.... not sure what else I need to think on that some. I don't seem to eat a lot of fried foods anymore with this diet I have been on since Jan 1st.

I would eat anything fried. I've heard they batter and deep fry snickers bars and pickles---yes, I would try it!

Would you be willing to share your won ton recipe, Patsy? I love them!

I just made scones yesterday that were awesome, and really easy. Here's a tip I never knew after many years baking...in a pie crust or whenever you need to cut the butter into the dry ingredients, freeze the butter and grate it into the dry.

At our house, I like to fry pork chops till it gets brown, but then I put them in the oven so that it stays moist and it cooks more. Fish, bacon, sausage.... I know that it is not healthy. But, I prefer to fry my foods compared to steaming it.
