What is your most favorite meal that your DH, SO, ex boyfriend.... had made for you?

My favorite meal that DFi always makes me is meatloaf. It doesn't sound that exciting, but it is amazing!

My daughter had done a report on R.R.R.-(recycle, reuse, and reduce). In what was do you, and your family R.R.R.?

We have a compost bin outside that we put a lot of different things in and then use the compost for soil.

Haha I just got one for Christmas...but I haven't opened the box yet.

I have my sisters crock pot, she never uses it. I only make spaghetti sauce in it.


5 cans tomato paste
7 cans water
1 medium onion
1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic (i by the garlic in the jar as it is in olive oil)
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon baking soda

Put all ingredients into crock pot and cook on low for 2 hours.

While that is cooking i fry 2 lbs. Italian sausage and break it up small, add to the sauce after it has cooked for 2 hours and then cook 1 more hour.

When its done i put into plastic bowls and freeze.

(*Note* the baking soda cuts the acid a bit.)

I cook meatballs in mine. Two pounds of lean hamburger made into meat balls. Place in crock pot. Pour one packet of Lipton Onion-Mushroom soup on top. Then pour one can of Campbells Mushroom Soup in. Cook on low for five hours. Scoop out grease (if any) and stir when done. Put on top of rice to eat.

I like to also cook boneless pork ribs or chicken in BBQ sauce for sandwiches. I cook it about four hours on low.

I've found that my crockpot cooks faster than my last one so the times listed above may be different for someone else.

I like ranch dressing on the side but it's okay if it's put on the salad.

Bob Evans for breakfast sausage, and Italian sausage from a meat market near my aunts, for dinner and what i put in my spaghetti sauce. Sometimes Johnsonville.

I love Blue Cheese, but normally go with Ranch on a salad. Doesn't matter if it is on it or on the side

Did the DFi family Easter dinner on Saturday and my family Easter dinner on Sunday.

Main tradition is of course the Easter Egg hunt and we play family games. We played Apples to Apples this weekend and it was so much fun.

I like venison summer sausage. I don't eat breakfast sausage very often because it bothers my stomach. But when I do eat it, I like Jimmy Dean's mild with pancakes. I like to put syrup on my sausage.

I like homemade waffles, but will also eat the frozen ones, just a little butter and syrup. On occasion I will buy the frozen ones and make a waffle ice cream sandwich.

Love homemade waffles, DFi is the best at making them!! I don't really like fruit on top, but love vanilla ice cream waffle sandwiches and whipped cream

I don't eat waffles but if I did I would just put butter and syrup on them. I'm not really a sweet eater for breakfast.

I am not a big fan of waffles unless they are from a waffle station at a buffet. Then I like to put on coconut or regular syrup, strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream.
