Strawberries and whipped cream.
Strawberries and whipped cream.
What Kirby said.. or melted chocolate and do a fun fondue type thing, or drizzle it over, would also be good with strawberries and chocolate! any fruit really![]()
Good one Shayla! My daughter came up with today's QOTD-
What is your most favorite Christmas present that you had received?![]()
Good one Shayla!
Well, my most favorite gift from Joe was one he gave me a long time ago before we had kids. He bought me a bottle of perfume. Now this might not seem like much but if you really knew him, you would know that it was. He really needs help when it comes to thinking of gifts.Anyway, he actually went to the store all by himself without any coaching or hints or help and smelled the perfumes until he found one that he liked. It was a big surprise and fortunately, I liked it too. I don't wear perfume anymore but that was my most favorite gift of all time.
None. I make Sugar-Spice Pecans instead. What type of cookies do you bake during the Christmas season? *Feel free to share any recipes.

If I get bad customer service -- I am a letter writer. And often that has brought results, from home building stores to insurance companies.
Want an insurance company's attention, write to the state insurance board, and send a copy to the ins co. It will be resolved instantly, from my experience.
Once all I had to do was say I was going to write a letter to the state board, and somehow they managed to find the capability to resolve it immediately where they had drug along for months.
When we need appliances for the house we generally go to Appliance Direct. There, I buy the extended warranty. That is due to all the money I saved buying from them in the first place.
Recently I had great customer service, that I did not expect.
I had been eye-ing the iRobot Roomba and Scooba's for awhile.
I read a blog that suggested buying a reconditioned Scooba direct on the web from iRobot.
It was half the price ($200), free shipping. 90 day warranty, rather than 1 year.
First time I used it, the brushes did not pop out for rinsing. I called iRobot (just expecting some tips or suggestions).
I was put on hold. When the rep came back she said for my to keep the accessories, but they were mailing me a new Scooba.
I asked how to return the manufactured Scooba. She said they do not accept reconditioned units back.
So -- for $200 I have a reconditioned and a new Scooba.![]()
Figured the reconditioned one can be used for parts down the road.
And Imy Scooba.
I do not know why they were so quick to send me a new one. Maybe that was why the reconditioned was returned originally for.
But talk about great customer service!![]()
