There are so many different deep fried foods these days from french fries to cheesecakes, and twinkies. So todays QOTD is......

If you were to have something deep fried, what would you choose?

I want to try a fried Twinkie but i am afraid to.

Me too! I feel that I might keel over if I bite into one. Instant clogged arteries!

Hmmm, deep fried food....I guess it would be deep fried catfish. I'm really trying to stay away from fried food these days but don't always succeed. I had chicken fried chicken yesterday at Cotton Patch but it was the "small" portion. ;) I thought, what the heck, it's Mother's Day, I'll eat what I want today.

They have a deep fried contest at the State Fair each year. The grand champion winner gets to have their own booth to sell their winning product while the winners of the different categories have theirs sold at different booths throughout the fairgrounds. Last year I was bound and determined to try the winner. I couldn't hardly eat it and then I tried the fried guacamole that won something a couple of years back. I had been told that it was really good but yuck! hot guacamole is not my cup of tea.

Now they do have fried alligator that I've been eyeing for a number of years. Maybe I'll try it this year, who knows?

Yup.

I like fried catfish, had it at Garden Grill.

If you try it let me know what you think. I have wanted to try alligator, but not sure where to get it.

I want to try a fried twinkie, funnel cake, and a twix bar. Oh, and deep fried cheesecake.

My husband says it tastes like chicken. But then he says that about a lot of food, especially what he hasn't ever eaten before.

Funnel cakes are delicious, so are elephant ears.

One thing though, if what is fried is normally served cold, expect some disappointment sort of like eating Skittles when you thought you were eating M&Ms.

I love deep fried Mars bars, but the calorie content is enough to make anyone....:scared1::scared1::scared1:. DH and I tried deep fried Cheesecake but found it to be way to rich for us.

Deep fried cheesecake doesn't sound very appealing to me but I might try it if I had a chance.

I was watching Rachael Ray today, and she was making a noodle soup dish. So today's QOTD is-

What are your favorite noodle dish that include a soup-ex. udon?

Mongolie stirfry with Udon noodles, spinach, mushrooms, tofu, bean sprouts, and onions, freshly made in front of you YUM!

If you were asked to donate some baked goods to a bake sale, what would you make, and how much would you price it at?

When you go car shopping, what top three things, other then the actual price of the vehicle do you consider?

If you were asked to donate some baked goods to a bake sale, what would you make, and how much would you price it at?

Cupcakes - I make extra large ones so $1.50 each
Chocolate Chip Cookies - 3 for a $1.00

When you go car shopping, what top three things, other then the actual price of the vehicle do you consider?

Can't help, John does the car shopping.

Colour-Dark green or dark red...
Model-Chrysler Town and Country or the equiv in the Caravan
Features: stow and go seats, and my personal fav electronic driver seats that you can one touch and adjust easily, even when you are driving (great for the bad back).

If you were asked to donate some baked goods to a bake sale, what would you make, and how much would you price it at?
Brownies - 50 cents each

When you go car shopping, what top three things, other then the actual price of the vehicle do you consider?
Height of seat from ground level. I want to be able to just slide evenly in and out. I don't care for sedans because they are too low to the ground.

Whether or not my mom's walker and wheel chair will fit, both at the same time.

Reliability/reputation.

Oops yesterday afternoon, and this morning were both busy, I forgot to post the QOTD.

So today's QOTD is-

Do you look for Hidden Mickeys? If so, what sort of places, or in what sort of things have you seen them in?

During the evenings while you are trying to go to bed what sort of sounds do you hear? Ex. any animals, traffic, .....?
