Exchange Points

Hi Everyone-

Looking at DVC (as you all know I'm sure) and was wondering if there was anywhere that listed the RCI Exchange points? I found the points for all the dvc hotels but nothing for the exchanges. I know exchanges are mostly worse than Disney, but if we wanted to go one year somewhere else we would like to know how bad.

i think it's 160 pts to exchange for a 1BR for a week and 270 pts for a 2BR for a week. that's for "high season" but from what i understand, a lot qualifies as high season.

as for it being a poor deal, keep in mind that many of the trade options can be had on ebay for a fraction of DVC's upfront cost (some for $1) with lower annual dues...quality varies - some are very nice, many lower than DVC - but it's up to you...

There's some variation but if you keep the numbers in mind that chalee94 posted, you'll have a great reference point.
