Whoa - so many posts! I have also had trouble getting onto the Boards lately, Elaine. Maybe some of it has to do with the bad weather that parts of the country have been suffering this week - maybe lots of people are accessing the Boards at once, as they're snowed in!
We had 4 inches dumped on us over the course of the past 2 days, have a one day "break" today, and are supposed to get an additional 4 - 7 inches of snow, tomorrow! Unbelievable! Isn't the first day of spring this weekend?????
Hi Angie! Great to see you! And congratulations to your DD on her great accomplishment! Glad to hear that you all enjoyed Mardi Gras, as well! If you find a way to post any of your pictures - or if there are any on the internet to which you could post a link - of your DD or Mardi Gras - please let us know! I know what you mean about this being a "WDW time of year" - spring reminds me of WDW, too. Even if you and your family are not able to get away this year, is it possible that you might be able to start thinking about / planning a trip for spring break next year? The planning and anticipation of a WDW trip are half the fun, as I always say, even if the trip itself might be a long time away!
Great to see you back here, Depply! How was your spring break? And how did that test go?
How are you doing, Elaine? I knew that Luis posted on the Boards, but I didn't realize that your sister did, too! And I also didn't know that Webmaster CC had left the DIS - I'm sorry to hear that! I had heard about the Columbus sniper - that is very frightening. I don't know if there is actually more crime now than there used to be, years ago........or if it's just that we hear about things more often than we used to. It seems like every time we turn on the news, more horrific things are being reported from around the world and around the country. But on a happier note.........
Neat idea about "taking up residence" in the UK in Epcot, Depply! But I say that if we need to "move" anywhere, it needs to be to another, new-and-improved suite that looks out over the Seven Seas Lagoon, so that we can still see our EWP every night! Maybe we can establish a "home-away-from-home" in the UK castle, though - for those times when we just don't feel like leaving the World Showcase after IllumiNations!

I don't know if I could pick a favorite WS pavilion - there is something so charming and special about all of them! I love the little "hidden pathways" and remote courtyards in Morocco and China and the tucked away "streets" in France and the UK. And the larger courtyard in Italy. And I love the FOOD in Norway!
Thanks for the latest countdown, Linda!

We sure are counting the days, as well! I can't believe that we can say that our trips are less than 2 months away, now! We have to get on top of things and book our shore excursions, soon - we started looking at the possibilities last week, then got all distracted and never got a chance to reserve them! That's so neat that your sister will be able to meet you while you are in WDW - it sounds like you'll have lots of fun get togethers planned while you are down there!
Loved your recounting Dalton's math and money counting accomplishments! He sure is a bright young man! How did Austin fare after seeing "The Passion..."? I'm sure that he was very brave and that he was able to learn from it as his parents hoped that he would. I'm sure with all of the encouragement and information with which you provided him after 9/11, he was much more prepared for some of the images that he was presented with in the film than you might have anticipated. It's sad in a way that children today have been forced to "lose" a certain amount of "innocence" as the result of world events to which they have unfortunately been exposed. But at the same time, they are probably a lot stronger and more intuitive and wise, in general, and as a result.
The game was a lot of fun, last night - especially since the Devils won! (Well, what else can one expect from the 2002-2003 Stanley Cup champions??

) We are not huge or regular hockey fans, but it was neat to get out and do something different and the seats that Frank was given were so fantastic and close to the ice that it made watching the game even more exciting! Plus it's neat to go out and cheer for a NJ team (which will be our only professional sports team soon, since NY is taking our Nets away from us!

I think that NY should give NJ either the Jets or the Giants, since both teams play in a stadium in NJ, anyway, and NY doesn't need 2 football teams! They can throw in the Mets, too, while they're at it - NY doesn't need 2 baseball teams, either!

)! The only professional sports team that we follow is the Mets - that's because I was a born Mets fan, since my mother was a lifelong supporter of the team! We already have tickets for a game in June - coincidentally on my mother's birthday. I haven't been to see them play live in years, so I'm really looking forward to it!
Well, time to get out and run some errands........before we are hit with our next mini-blizzard! Have a great day, Everyone!
