I did a Whois search on hotwiresavingsclub.com and their domain servers are:
mwipo.memberworks.com
ns2.memberworks.com

If I do a whois on connections123.com, I get the same domain server.

When your vouchers arrive, they will have been sent by Memberworks, which is Connection's parent company as well.

When I printed out the page for my $10 rebate, for joining Hotwiresavings club, the bottom of the page (which shows the url of the site the page came from) says "www.dealpass.com". Dealpass.com the the portal thru which you can sign up for all kinds of Memberworks sites. If you do a Whois on dealpass.com, guess who comes up as the parent company? Memberworks.

Interesting, isn't it?

I ordered 20 Q & C vouchers through hotwire on Monday. :D How long does it usually take for them to come in?

That wasn't quite the answer I wanted. Let me try again.

How much do the different vouchers cost??

I'm not sure about the VKL vouchers, but the Q&C vouchers were $11.50 each.

The Q & C vouchers through Hotwire are $11.50. The breakfast vouchers are $18.25, and the lunch vouchers are either $30.50 or $31.50. I think the Connections prices are the same.

The first few pages of this thread have prices and where the vouchers can be used.

Thank you. I wanted to make sure that the prices were still the same as they were listed there.

Also, I was told that I could get vouchers through ticketmania.com, but I cannot find them listed anywhere on their site. Do they not carry them?

Trying to compare overall prices.

Thank you!
:earsgirl:

I ordered my vouchers on Last Friday and the arrived today(Wed)!

Wow that was fast! Now the big decision....do I cancel membership to hotwire or keep it? :hyper:

Will I really use it enough to make it worth the monthly fee? What do most of you do?:wave2:

all 3 sets I ordered were ordered on the weekend and came by the following friday although that could depend on where you live by a day or 2.

mad4 the mouse: thanks.... i have done business before with different shops online that are part of one conglomerate and give different levels of service ( just had that experience...one shop great, the other terrible , same parent company) just wondered if since I have never had a problem with hotwire if it was a fluke since so many have had problems with connections

Still bleary eyed from late flight last night.
Used our Q&C vouchers mainly at Coronado SPrings.. (they got to know us well ... esp. since we had mugs from past trips) and Beaches and Cream...
they're a really great avalue at dinner time at Coronado... they've got a Terrific PrimeRib dinner (Large portion w/grilled vegg, potatoe) and then add a fab dessert and beverage (actually did a smoothie) and the charge was about $26ish (I think) ... got a great value.. even stopped off there on way to airport and used it to take ribeye steaks back for flight on plain... fantastic choc. oreo cake and enjoyed a decaf cappicino...
Can't beat the value.. I've got 3 Q&C vouchers left from this trip that expire in 5/05 if anyone's interested... won't be returning to WDW in a year... let me know
Carolyn

We won't be going to WDW until Feb 2005 but I wanted to go ahead and take caare of as many things as I can as time goes by...I plan to order some Q&C, breakfast and VKL vouchers because of the expiration dates (not wanting to get the old ones) should I order now or wait?

Hello! Like someone else said, I have been wading thru pages of information..but, I can't find everything I need..so, here goes..!!

When using Q & C at the counter services places within the parks..is it best to ask at the time you order just what is included??? For instance, I go to Pecos Bill in MK....the burgers come with fries already....so...when I order do I say that I will be using a Q & C voucher and do they consider the fries to be the side??? Or...do I just order the hamburger/fries with the extra side and pay w/the voucher?? I know this cant be that difficult to understand..but, I feel brain dead about all of this lately..!!!

I know what is "supposed" to be included with the vouchers..but, there are so many different views on how to use them!! I just want to be sure of what I can get beforehand...you know??

Somebody help me...I'm tired!!!!!!

I received Q & C and VKL vouchers from Hotwire Earlier this week and all had May 31, 2005 as their expiration date. I got a $10 rebate off my first order, free shipping which was very fast. So far so good!

To answer your question pjfnme
If you go to the counter service and the side is already included thats all.
Pizza planet has a deal with a personal pizza and a salad... thats your voucher. It does not include the specialty salad.
I used Q & C vouchers and found that mostly I broke even or the meal was a little less then the voucher. I got the vouchers to pre-pay most of my meals. The best value for the Q & C is at the resorts. Like the previous poster stated going over to Coronada Springs and eating at the Pepper Market was our best value.

topcat011 has confirmed what I stated many pages ago...there are very few restaurants that allow you to save money using the Q&C vouchers. And, the few that do, are usually at the resorts and can be quite time-consuming to get to if you are travelling by bus. They really should just be considered as a convenience to prepay some of your meals. I don't think the CM's working at the restaurants allow too many "extras" now that the vouchers have become so popular.

We saved at least $0.25 cents on each meal we had the vouchers for after subtracting any extras. Many people on here will stay at resorts, so it may be convient for them to go to the resort locations for meals, tho several of our meals were in the parks. Also, in the first pages of the thread, the places to eat for the best vaule are denoted, and there is a link to menu prices, so you can determine ahead of time if the places you are likely to eat at will save you a couple of dollars or only a few cents. Vouchers are useful for pre paying meals, and can be a good money saver if you are willing to make time and effort for using them.

**Note** Have updated the expiration date, restaurant list and prices on first page for Q&C and Breakfast vouchers. As I have not gotten the new VKL's anybody who has please let me know if any places have been changed on them. THANKS!

After looking at menu prices for the places we want to eat, I decided to only get the vouchers for the 2 times we are going to eat at Beaches and Cream. At $11.50 each they are not really a savings at fast food locations in the parks. My sons band is getting them for $10, that makes it an actual savings according to the menu prices I found.

I wish they were a better deal - I love the prepaying idea. Disney would be smart to sell them for less, it would keep people eating at the parks and resorts instead of going offsite for a cheaper meal.
