Wow! I talked to customer serv at Hotwire today, and they told me they didn't know when the expiration dates would be changing! They said I should wait till the MIDDLE OF MAY to order my vouchers I need for the first week of JUNE!
A friend from work went thru Hotwire for their vouchers that were to be used this week, and she never received her vouchers before leaving. I feel bad, because I encouraged her to go thru them, because I had heard such great things about them, she ordered them 30 days in advance to be sure she had them. So I can't imagine waiting till 2 weeks before leaving to order them, in hopes the expiration dates have changed.

Is the Yachtsman Club listed on the present VKL vouchers? I hear they are no longer open for lunch but are still listed on the voucher so can we still use them and what time does the YC start serving dinner?

We wanted a good steak one day and have been told that this is the best. We were thinking Brown Derby but consensus is the steaks are better at YC. Also, how do we get there say from Epcot?

Well I called Disney trying to get some anwers and they tell me that using VKL's, I can not substitute a dinner at YC for a lunch and they are no longer open at lunch.

I want a really nice steak, or steak and seafood combo that day(it's my birthday!) and I think we will be in the Epcot area. Any ideas?

I see the wonderful listing of resturants that accept VKL's at the start of this thread is old. Thanks to the one who type it in!

Anyone who has recently purchased VKL's, could you please type out a list of current places that will accept them? TIA!

both Brown Derby and LeCellier had good steaks( 10oz strips), Bd let you add on a shrimp skewer with the voucher..do not think that was offered at LeC we saved about 7-10 per voucher at those 2 places.

DS and I had a fantastic steak at The Brown Derby just this past month using a VKL. We also added the shrimp skewer add on at no additional cost and without the waitress blinking an eye. Try the coconut shrimp for the appetizer! It is fantastic!

I ordered mine through connections and received them in less than a week. Have a great time, and happy early birthday! Steak and shrimp on a birthday.. what more could you want? Oh yeah, try the flourless chocolate cake! You MUST have chocolate on your birthday, too!

I don't know the new dates, as I still have some left over with the old dates on them. We are planning on using the last of our vouchers during Easter break. Not sure DH will agree that DS and I saved money by spending more, but we sure did have better food and better atmosphere eating at the nicer restaurants for lunch!

Does anyone know whether you can use the lunch certificates at Tepanyaki for dinner since they charge the same for lunch as dinner? I've read the RFC allows this and was wondering if that policy carries over into Epcot. Thanks.

I signed up for Hotwire and ordered Quick and Casual vouchers. I notice that they only allow 40 vouchers per household per year. Since we have multiple trips planned for this year and there are six of us, that probably isn't enough.

How do others get around that? Do you order 40 from Hotwire, cancel, then join Connections? Would that work?

Sorry - preparing to go to Russia tomorrow and been neglecting my DIS family.

I ordered last Wednesday and got the vouchers this Monday - four business days. That's pretty good.

Nothing else that stands out. The vouchers appear to be the same as the ones I read about with the 5/04 expiration dates. I will look at them closely and post a list of the restaurants if anyone is interested in that.

I can do the same for the Breakfast Feature vouchers if there's any interest.

if you had creme brulee for dessert we had the exact same yummy meal! this is our new favorite place...so good!

Jann>> We almost did! It was quite the toss up since we both (even the 10 year old!) love a good creme brulee! April this meal will be done again, with some additions since it will be two meals shared three ways. I am still dreaming about the coconut shrimp, and the steak was one of the most tender NY strips I have had in years.

Thank you everyone for posting the updated information on the vouchers!

I joined Hotwire last night and called today to get meal vouchers! Oh my what a riot! The person I spoke to had a very unusual accent and it was very difficult to understand him. He kept trying to get me to buy Hopper tickets and I said no I want meal vouchers. I said Q & C's and that really confused him! He finally found meal vouchers and started reading to me about....bla bla bla break fast.... like breakfast was a two word verb or something. It took me forever to figure out what he was saying!

He finally found them when I gave him the prices of what I wanted! Then he asked permission to charge them separately. He gave me a total for the 5 Q & C's and then did the 2 VKL's as a different charge. It sort of threw me a curve as I was looking for the total charge amount.

After I hung up I was so nervous that I called back and told someone else what had happened and I needed to know for sure that I had the right things ordered. They said they were sorry and it appears the order is fine! Wheeuuu!

Now all I have left to worry about is that they get here before we leave!

This may have already been asked, but are there any dinner vouchers (besides the Q&C) for the full-service restaurants? I didn't see any on hotwire.

I haven't seen dinner vouchers but the VKL's can be used for nice sit down meals but I think they do specify that they should be used at lunch hours but it does not define lunch hours!( Mine have not come yet).

Some people have had success using these vouchers for meals at places where the lunch and dinner menus are the same!
