Everything Virtual Queue - Please Read Post 1

Got called for Guardians (BG 14) at 8:40am yesterday, July 19. Tapped into the ride at 8:40pm. CM didn’t bat an eye, just tapped something on her screen when the Mickey head flashed blue and we went right in. Ended up waiting 41 minutes before we got to the first “room”, it was all indoors and air conditioned so we didn’t mind the wait. So confirming that showing up late is still allowed.

This morning, July 20, Tiana’s and Guardians VQ went quickly. I grabbed Guardians, and then for science purposes, since Tron was still open after 7am, I changed our park res to MK and tried to get a second VQ for Tron. No dice. Got a message saying we were not eligible as we had a BG for another experience.

Haven’t been called for Guardians yet, there is an option to “remove guests” on the VQ page. At 1pm Guardians filled up right away, as of 1:10pm Tron and Tiana’s VQs are both still open.

No, all you need is to be eligible for the 6:00 drop (staying at a deluxe resort and having valid admission to that park). We got a VQ for GotG while at dinner and hadn’t even entered any park that day.
Hi! I think I have this right, but can you confirm that valid admission to that park can mean a park hopper? I did not reserve Epcot for any park day, but do want to take advantage of the extra evening hours and GOG VQ. We have the military park hopper tickets and are staying deluxe. I can try for the 6:00 drop without entering Epcot correct?

Yes, a park hopping ticket is valid for that.

Is Tiana like Tron or GotG when it comes to return times? I'm flying in next Friday and I'm going to try for a VQ from the airport, but I won't get there until at least 10.

I showed up late with no issues in early July as did friends on a different day. Also tron is not really enforcing their’s anymore either.

If I get a VQ for Tron at 7am that has not been called by 1pm, it will not let me get a VQ for GOTG, right? Thinking of when we park hop on MNSsMP days.

You can remove the VQ for Tron and then get GOTG at 1pm. But if you still have the 7am VQ for Tron, correct, you won’t be able to get a VQ for Guardians at 1pm. (You can get the 6pm VQ for either, if you’re at an eligible hotel, even if your 7am/1pm VQ is still there.)

Correct. A guest may only hold one VQ at a time. Also, to secure a VQ at 1PM, a guest must have tapped into the park where the 1 PM VQ attraction is located.

Tron and Tiana’s will not require a VQ to ride during MNSSHP which is the party OP asked about. These attractions will only have standby lines during the party. There will not be a 6PM drop.

I have never used the virtual queue system....Is it a good idea to try for a 7am virtual queue the day you fly, or are the times they call your boarding group so early that it locks you out of making them at 1pm? (Plane expected to land at noon.)

Posts 1 and 2 will be helpful to read.

Basically the answer to your question depends on which VQ you are attempting to get.

Tron requires you to return in your 1 hour window.
Tiana sometimes lets you arrive late for your 1 hour window.
Guardians allows you to ride anytime from when your VQ is called until park close that day.

Thank you so much for your response!...Have never got on Guardians, so will try that!...Your response is so helpful!

Can you hold a 7am VQ for Guardians and get the 6pm drop if haven't used the 7am one? Know it's not possible at 1, but do rules apply for Extended Hours.

Edit, found my answer as yes didn't catch the line earlier. Thanks!

Im clearly missing something with the new process. say for GOTG, with the old system I tried for VQ and when I didnt get it I paid for the LL. Now VQ is day of visit so it seems backwards. I would only pay for LLSP if I dont get VQ. Can someone guide me? Clearly confused.

Just want to make sure I'm understanding this as we're new APs for 1st time ever:

We still have to make park reservations except for post 2pm-visits and good to go days. Got that.
On reservation days, I can't make 7am VQs for a park other than the one I have reserved, correct?
If we're planning an MK morning and Epcot late evening, I can't at 7am have an MK reservation and snag a Guardians VQ correct?

We are desperately trying to do Tianas and Guardians on the same day, and don't plan to be in Epcot by the 1pm VQ time slot so am trying to come up with the best game plan and I feel like I'm missing something super obvious.
