For those that have done Tron and GoG 1PM VQ, how long have you waiting in line after scanning in? Are the lines long if I wait until park closing to ride GoG?

Headed down the end of this week. Would love to know how strict they are being on call back times for Tiana's. We are doing a keys to kingdom tour Friday. Will try for a BG at 7am. Wondering how it will work if our group is called before we're done 🤔

Return times for Tiana’s are being enforced. They normally make exceptions for ADRs but I’m not sure about a tour.

if it’s an extended evening or the holidays that line is going to be 45 mins+ near park close and during early extended evening. Everyone has the same idea but if it’s your only day, it’s mostly an indoor queue (except around 15 mins).

If you have a legit reason I believe they will allow you in. I would try to head to the ride as soon as possible after you’re done with your tour.

Question: I understand that one can only hold Virtual Boarding Group for one attraction at a time unless your earlier BG has been called before 1pm to try for the other attraction (e.g. Tiana at 7am and Tron at 1pm). But is it enough for the Virtual Boarding Group to be "called" by 1pm or do you have to "tap in" before 1pm?

Return times for Tiana's enforced for (a) Virtual Boarding Group; (b) Genie+; or (c) both?
When I asked the cm if they were strict with return times or if there was any leniency for ADRs, I was told return times are enforced and for ADRs it’s on a case by case basis and helps if you have a receipt or proof.

Understood. Just wondering if the context was for Boarding Group return times or for Genie+ return times.

They have been calling boarding groups for Tiana before 9. (Eg. “return to attraction before 9:49 am” yesterday, sent at 8:49am. So since I got the call at 8:49am, would I be able to board that early if this happens again? I thought Adventureland doesn’t open until 9? I am eligible for early entry if that matters (but I thought only fantasyland and Tomorrowland were open that early)

Yes, Tiana return times are enforced for both Virtual boarding Group and Genie + LL.

You need to have tapped into your first VQ before you can try for a second one. You can only 'hold' one at a time and until you tap in, you are still holding a VQ even though you have not redeemed it yet.

My understanding is that Adventureland does not open until official park opening. We have not had any reports of ETPE guests being allowed to enter the area to ride prior to official theme park opening time.

If anyone has been able to access the Tiana ride prior to official park opening, please let us know.

Thanks!

When trying for a VQ at 6:00 on Extended Evening Park Hours days (Staying at Deluxe Resort), do you need to be in that park at 6:00 when trying for the VQ?
I know you don't need to be in park when trying at 7:00 (park isn't open anyway), and need to have scanned in when trying at 1:00 but can't seem to find the requirement when trying for the 6:00 drop.

No, all you need is to be eligible for the 6:00 drop (staying at a deluxe resort and having valid admission to that park). We got a VQ for GotG while at dinner and hadn’t even entered any park that day.

If I get a VQ time that is too early, is it possible to cancel and try for a later time? Or if I cancel, does it lock me out from trying again for the same queue. I am willing to risk losing it if it’s possible to do. This will be for Tron if that matters.

We will be in the park at 1pm to try to get the vq. But we need to leave by 1:30 and won’t get back until 6. So I need to try at 1pm, but if it looks too early, I would like to cancel and try to get a number that will be called between 6-10 pm.

You risk losing it altogether if the VQ fills up. Not worth it to cancel IMO. If you need a specific time, buy a Lightning Lane Single Pass.

I’ve done it with Tron at the 1pm drop but yes it is very risky.

Yes, you can cancel if you're successful at 1PM and your return time is before 6PM but, depending on how busy it is, there's no guarantee you will be successful a second time. If it were me, I'd be more likely to wait a few seconds and then try 5-10 seconds after 1PM to see what time I get, if any.

Basically, you can try for a VQ but you're playing with very narrow ranges.

If this attraction is a 'must do' for you, I'd recommend purchasing ILL$/LLSP as you have very specific time criteria and VQ isn't dependable.

The thing is, ILL$/LLSP may be sold out before the 1PM drop so you may need to decide ahead of your day, which way you're going to go.
