Everything Rope Drop

Hi everyone!
Seeing anyone can comment on a "toddlers" rope drop at MK. Wont be on any of the roller coasters, ect. Want to be efficient with rides in the vicinity, but don't want to be riding Small World while another line is getting longer. Planning on likely (in this order):
Peter Pan, Mermaid, Dumbo, Barnstormer, Teacups, then finally small world. Then the carousel .

We will likely mosey on over to Adventureland after this - for jungle cruise, and just exploring. Likely be back to the resort by lunchtime.

Is this possible? Any tweaks?

I'd probably do carousel before small world just because you're already back tracking to SW, and you'd pass the carousel 2 times before finally riding on the third time seeing it. And also you mentioned hitting up JC etc, you'll be closer when getting off SW to adventure land

Definitely possible! Just be aware that Jungle Cruise wait times build very quickly in the morning and you’ll want to head over there ASAP after you get done with the Fantasyland attractions.

What is MMRR like at Rope Drop?
On our last trip we did SDD at RD and it was a super frustrating experience that I don't want to repeat, so we've decided we will save that to do at park close.
I was thinking we could start with MMRR then do MFSR...
Does that seem like a good start to the day? Thanks for any input

It was down on our rope drop day and I think that’s been a semi-common occurrence. Touring Plans had me doing TSMM and Saucers before MMRR.

We had a good experience last week. We got there 10 min or so before open. The line was snaking outside of the ride building as we walked in but it never stopped (quickly) moving so it was basically a walk on. We were off of it right around 9.

After heading to SDD which was down at rope drop on our day in June, we got in line for MMRR and had a 40 minute wait. Not too bad. Off by 9:50. We then were called for our Rise Boarding Group #14.

We were there in April. Did MMRR at RD 2 different days. Very short lines and rode twice each day with only a 5-10 minute wait for the second ride. Then headed to ToT followed by RnRC. Short waits for all. The park is now at a higher capacity, but would expect RD to be similar.
Most seemed to be headed to SDD or MFSR at RD.

I believe rope dropping is more important now due to the lack of FP. In the past you could secure a FP for some of your favourite attractions but currently that’s not an option so people are reporting rope drop is a good time when crowds are lower.

Evening can also be a good time as crowds can thin out a bit then too.

I totally agree. Depending on who I was traveling with, I used to set up my fast pass for 10am and later to let some sleep in. For my last trip, it was rope drop every day to get those headliners.

When my non crazy Disney fan friends ask me for advice about going to WDW, I tell them that 80% of being efficient and avoiding too much wait time is rope dropping. Regardless of time of year.

How speedy do you need to be to make rope drop worth it? I'm just not that fast a walker anymore, plus I'm a klutz, I'm afraid of hurrying and tripping, especially in Animal Kingdom with the uneven pathways. How early do people get in line for the bus? What I've seen posted is 45 min before posted opening, which for MK would be 8:15, but I'm seeing trip reports of people already at rope drop by then, how do they get there earlier, Im thinking that if the bus arrives at 830, and you still have to go through security, how do you rope drop?
I'm coming from the Dolphin, so for the first day at Magic Kingdom, I'm probably coming over on the ferry from the TTT, which I know takes longer, but thought it would be more special for granddaughters first sight of MK. Unless the busses from the Yacht Club leave much earlier than the Mears bus from the Dolphin and that was a significant advantage... but a lot of people are going to be much faster than me.
I'm probably overthinking it, I just want Aug to get here already and be there!

What time do they start letting offsite guests in the front entrances at the Studios and Magic Kingdom now, for rope drop to the different areas in the park? Is it before the official posted opening time? It's been a few years since we have been to the parks, and I would like to maximize our park time, since we are only going for 2 days. TIA

The official rope drop is back but I believe you can still get in the park 45 minutes before official park opening. The onsite/offsite difference will kick in October 1.
