We were merrily watching the Christmas Parade, and the Fat Jolly Old Elf Himself, Santa, had just passed our spot on Main Street. So the parade was over, but the music was still playing! After consulting the Junior Woodchuck Guide Book, we determined there was only one thing we could do:
Boogie Down!
(That last picture is my absolute favorite of the entire trip.

)
This one's for you, Bambi.
The Holiday Wishes Fireworks were next. We moved down Main Street to the bridge area to get a better view. As good as Disney is a setting fireworks to regular music, they seem to outdo themselves with Holiday Music. Top Notch performance!
So it's now 10:00pm. Kayden is asleep in the stroller - I'm not sure he even made it through the fireworks. Madison and Evan are still awake and ready for more. So what to do? Spin!
For those of you interested in a little behind-the-scenes of our family, I'll interrupt this trip report for a little "making of the Trip Report." For every awesome family shot like you see above, you don't see 2 or 3 (or 10) preliminary shots that are taken while we get everything set up. Some shots may be rejected because someone was blinking, or looking off at something else, or deathly afraid that their mother wasn't going to get into the teacup in time, the ride would start, and she would be trampled to death by spinning teacups.
And now back to your regularly scheduled TR, already in progress.
After Bambi sucessfully cheated death by taking that picture and jumping into the teacup just in the nick of time, Madison returned to her normal self. Her normal,
"i'm going to spin this teacup as fast as I can and I don't care who pukes" self.
After our attempt to counteract the Earth's rotation in our teacup, we jumped off and headed back to Toontown and past it's Toon Hole.
Evan was on a mission. He was going to get on Goofy's Barnstormer. We were welcome to ride along...if we could keep up.
Luckily, we all made it in time. It was another awesome ride! Climbing and swooping and banking and twisting and turning! We pulled back into the station and saw...
...no one. There was no one in line to ride the Barnstormer. The ride operator asked if we wanted to go again. Hey Girls, what do you think about riding again?

But this time we declined. We had an awesome run of three in a row, but other rides were feeling left out. We climbed out of Goofy's Barnstormer. We didn't know it at the time, but it would be the last time we rode that magical little roller coaster. Sure, it will be back once the Fantasyland expansion is complete, but it will be re-themed. The ride will still be exhilarating, but Goofy's Barnstormer as we know it is gone. Goodbye old friend.
We left Toontown and headed through a very sparsely populated Fantasyland. Destination: Dumbo.
After Dumbo was another spin on Prince Charming's Carousel(or whatever they're call it now)
And a leisurely stroll down Main Street, USA, complete with wreaths, candles, garland and snow.
We boarded the Bus to Saratoga Springs and got off at the Grandstand, where we were met with one last bit of Disney Magic.
We caught the bus to the Tree Houses, made the short walk up to ours and crashed, exhausted after a long and wonderful day at Disney World.
COMING UP NEXT: Mini golf, drawings, and a surprise portrait session.
