Everest - soft opening?

On another website it stated that Everest would open officially April 7th, but that soft openings were expected in the meantime? What does this mean? Thanks Gail 50 days and counting

I quote from the Spring issue of "Disney Rewards" magazine (mailed to Visa cardmembers four times a year), which I received in the mail yesterday. (Feb. 12), in a writeup about the new coaster:

"Starting in February, you can get a senak peek at Expeditin Everest and ride the all-new attraction before it opens later in the spring."

I take that to mean that EE is open now, and will remain open every day from now on.

I take that to mean that EE is open now, and will remain open every day from now on.

I can confirm this from many Disney news casts given from people located in Orlando. You should be able to preview the attraction from now until their "official" opening. I experienced it 24 times during the AP preview. It's amazing! Have fun and enjoy!!
