I am interested in doing this. If so, where did you stay, and were the accomadations nice? Was it worth the points?

I have stayed at CBR, but before I ever knew about DVC. It was great, very family oriented. The only hitch we had was a long line and wait at check-in but they had coloring books and little trinkets for the kids. We loved the food court and the pool. Look for a room towards the middle section so you don't have to hike to the pool and food court. We had them swict hus because originally we were out o nthe edge of the resort and with a small child it would have been a hike back and forth from the room to the pool/food court.

As with all Disney resorts, the transportation system lacked somewhat. We made a point of getting up and out early to avoide the bus hassle.

I like the Hyatt exchange for Puerto Rico. It is at the Hyatt Ceromar and Dorado beach and golf resorts. The time share is called Hacienda del Mar. They have nice rest. between the 3 resorts and one of the best river pools I have seen. Big water slides, and other pools. the beach is a lagoon that blocks off the Atlantic. The resort is located about 1 hour from San Juan. You can rent a car, but you must have some skill at extreme aggressive driving. other wise you can take a transfer. the rooms at HdM are pretty new and are about the size of HHI. Colorful. We had a ocean view and it is great. You need a high floor to see it because of the lush tropical pool. Check it out at Hyatt.com and click on Cerromar. we love it.
