ever take a 'nanny'?

Thanks mdoc and traveliz, that sounds like our situation exactly. We just wanted to take her, have fun, and maybe go out once or twice. We just think the world of her, and it would make quite a graduation present for her! :cool1:

I don't have a nanny/babysitter but man if I did she'd go with us! I think if you pay all of her expenses then giving her the normal $50 she would get would be enough. This is a fabulous arrangement for all of you. Even though she will be working (if you can call WDW work!) she will be having fun too so I don't think you need to pay her an hourly rate for each hour she may have the kids. That's what paying her trip does in a sense, pay for her time. You could maybe give her a card with some Disney Dollars for spending money before you go if you feel like something extra should be done. I would also recommend looking into renting DVC points. Renting points is much more cost effective than booking those resorts outright. The added space and the fact that you can cook your own meals is great. Also, if you aren't feeling well and need to stay behind, you will want some nice space and the ability to eat something without going out to get it. Have a great trip!

Amy&Dan,

Great suggestions! And you're right about needing some space. Since I can't predict when I'm going to be 'broken' I like to plan to be comfortable. We are getting a cabin (FW) this year. If we like it (lol!) we may stay there next year too. Otherwise, we may end up off-site as we want to do Seaworld and head down to the Keys for a few days too. I've been looking at the Caribe Royale villas and the camp ground (Tropical Palm??). The campground has cottages and costs about 1/2 FW. But, yes, a kitchen is a definite!
