I have never traveled during a holiday week but next year we are! We always seem to get the special mini van rates at about $200 a week. We are not renting a car for our Disney portion of the vacation but when we leave WDW we are going to St.Pete for a week(this would be Easter week!) so we obviously need a car! :teeth: Looks like $400ish is the going rate for a minivan right now during that week! :earseek: I'm going to book one now because I know that I will need it and I want a good chance of getting a minivan....I am going to keep my eyes WIDE open for a discount though! Just wondering if there is even a slight chance of a discount during that week!

Thanks!

Kim

I looked hard last year...no luck, book now(national), and keep applying any discounts, you can always cancel if anything better comes along.

I have Alamo booked now....national was more expensive! Figured I better get it now as minivans can be hard to come by during busy weeks if you wait too long! Hopefully some sort of discount will come around! That's a lot of money!!!

I would also book National, and anyone else you can think of..you never know who is going to have the best deal when the time comes. I usually go with National because you can stack discounts..and book the Entertainment book discount asap.

Will do! FYI...National was over $100 more than Alamo! Something like $550 for ther week!!! Because I am going to get the car while on Disney property Alamo and National are my only choices! MCO was the cheapest but for $35 it's not worth going back to the airport!!

Keep me posted if you see anything!! :rotfl:
