Ever met anyone who seems to "have it all"?

I've met 2 couples like that. On the outside, it looks like they have it all. But upon closer inspection, you notice they're just so incredibly happy with life that it seems as if they have it all.:)

I know a few people like that and I used to wonder about what made it so. I think that it has a lot to do with attitude. They feel like they have it all and it shows. It's something I'm working on but it's HARD!

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Some people feel "how things look" is more important than reality and they can put on a good show.

I could not agree with this more. Has anyone seen the movie Phone Both. There is also a poem that I remember from college about a man that everyone in town admired and everyone thought that his life was better then theirs. The man kills himself at the end of the poem. Now I am going to have to go and look up the name of that poem. But, my point is things are not always as they appear to be.

Yep, the Menendez's, Ben and Jen, OJ Simpson's wife, Kobe Bryant's wife....

LOTS of people! :teeth:

Yes me ::yes:: or at least I feel that way . It is true the most important thing is ... Do they LOVE DISNEY WORLD?????

Wishing you all a Tagged night

I believe each day is what you make it!:D

I love my life, and I do not care what others do or do not have! My only concern is the happiness of my family.;)

Yes I agree life in what you make it and some people that appear to have it all are in fact quite miserable BUT some people just get all the breaks. Everything is handed to them on a silver platter. These are the type of people I was describing!

Often times, but not always, those who seem to have it all are those that are head over heals in debt or are just putting on a show for society. This is probably not the case with this family, but I decided a long time ago not to let things like that bother me.

Are the people you're describing ultra rich?

I know several people that appear to have it all, but they work for everything they get. My sister and her family come to mind. Many of my friends talk about the things her and my BIL have. The perfect jobs, kids, ....

Nothing was handed to them and they aren't lucky. They knew what they wanted, set goals and worked hard to reach those goals.

They and others like them haven't done anything that others can't do. You just have to be willing to do it.

I figured out a long time ago that if you think someone has an "easy" life, you just don't know them well enough. As someone said, you don't know what they may have overcome in the past. Some of the people I know who seem to have the best outlook on life are the ones who have overcome a life-threatening health issue. I just try to make the best of the life I have. For me the biggest part of that is being content with what I have and knowing what I can & cannot control in my life.

Do I know people that are perfect? YUP ME! I have it all. I am beautiful, I have the best most supportive loving family. I have a husband that is completely in love with me..I have two perfect beautiful children. I get to be a SAHM which was what I always wanted to do. Dh makes enough money that we can have the "dream life."

Or at least...that was what my friends told me the other day when we were out for mom's night out. So, I told them...I have known DH since I was 15 and we never broke up..but we had some serious issues when we first moved in together. We have had a lot of struggles..Dh had to go to Anger Management classes, we laugh about it now...but we were married in the Catholic Church and they make you take this test before you get married to see how compaitble you are...well, we failed. And we were told you cant fail this test!LOL! DH is a complete slob and I spend more of the time finding empty soda cans and crumbs from food that he has left behind more then the kids. My daugher is in the process of learing ASL becuase she is far behind in speech (she is 18 mo) and my mom and I had the worse relationship while I was growing up.

So yes..I have the perfect life....I get to go to Disney, I have lots of loving family support, great friends that would bend over backwards for me..beautiful kids, and a husband that loves me. But I worked damn hard to have my perfect life!

PS. I am dying to go on extreme makeover...so while others may see me as pretty I dont see myslef that way at all!!!!
